Social and Gaming, Purchase and Content Usage, TV Music and Video up and running? Don't ...

While most of us understand their is an issue with the service because we cannot connect, are lagging miserably, or are getting booted every 5-10 minutes, why not just come out and say everything is down? Besides anything that does not connect to XBox Live,
there is nothing working! Heck, I've even been logged out of Netflix! This is one of the Apps that XBox has supposedly cleared as operational. Label it correctly then change it when it is fixed! People are taking the message to check the status and are
but then are returning to try to log on and visit apps with no success. This is poor communication and dishonesty. We realize there is a problem...Fix it...Update us...no problems!

Hey xChiZmx! I can understand how the status page could be confusing!

The problem right now, as shown by the status page, is with "Xbox Live Core Services." Since problems here can affect all services that utilize Xbox Live (including games/apps), it's easier to simply update that section of the page than to change the status
of every listed app that utilizes the currently-unavailable services.

So even though the app itself may technically be functioning fine, you might not be able to access it on your end when the core services are down since the app needs to utilize some of those services.

I hope that made at least a little bit of sense!

 

I cant play any of my games so I know how you feel.. But they sure make positive they get your money. I work all day then no live??? come on!

services" pretty much says it all. It really can't be that hard to change a few service status icons on the "XBOX Service Status Page" that are supposedly there to tell us what is available!
