So Xbox Live is down again?

Did they get DDOSed again by mischievous children? I am getting an error code 8015190E. My internet obviously works fine and I checked my network connections on my Xbox and it told me that the problem is on Xbox Live's end. But here's the thing: according
to the website, Xbox Live is up and running. Which begs the question:

- Why is Microsoft lying about service outages? And yes knowingly saying things that you know for a fact aren't true is lying.

- When will Xbox Live be back up and running?

- I am paying for the service. Where is my compensation for losing a day? I also pay to use other subscription services through my Xbox that I cannot use when Xbox Live is down.

Many gamers are turning on their Xbox today and discovering that they cannot connect to Xbox Live, nor access Xbox.com to try and determine what is going on. Currently there’s no official reason as to why Xbox Live is down for many gamers, but Microsoft
are certainly aware of the problem.

The helpful bunch @XboxSupport are well aware of the problem and are currently being bombarded by a flurry of tweets demanding to know what’s going on, so please remember, folks, that these guys are trying to help you and they’re running flatout to try and
solve the problem, so have some patience.

“We are aware that many users are unable to connect to Xbox LIVE at this time as well. The issue is being investigated.” XboxSupport tweeted.

Don’t panic; not everyone is effected with many gamers still perfectly able to access Live.

So, what’s the best thing you can do if you are having problems? Simply have patience, the problem will hopefully be fixed soon

I did follow the steps. Did you even read my post? The problem is ON XBOX'S END. THE PROBLEM IS THE XBOX SERVERS. And of course phone support is a joke.

 

@Squirerous im sure onyx62s did read your post in full but we are only just gamers like yourself so we cannot tell you whether its a problem on xboxs end or not or when it will be fixed or have the ability to compensate you. All we can do is suggest you
try the steps in the post listed for said error code. If that didnt work than thats why you were directed to contact support. We as fellow games on the forums can really do much but make suggestions to things you may have not alreafy tried

 

I have contacted Xbox about this repeatedly and have contacted my ISP repeatedly. Nobody seems to know anything.

 

Ok, I did read the original post.

If you deleted the profile and cleared the cache 3 times before redownloading then that rules out the possibility that your profile is corrupted.

There is currently no service outage in the system so that is ruled out.

That leaves only one other possibility. Your profile may be temporarily blocked due to suspicious activity.

Give phone support another call and if they cannot help you then request to have the issue escalated.
