So who's actually paying monthly for Elder Scrolls Online?

I might give it a go for a month or so just to see how it is and all. Cause it does look amazing. I'm just a little turned off by the fact u need to buy the game 60 bucks and then have to pay the monthly dues. I think they would of had a much much bigger
user base in we didn't need to purchase the game as well. Or make it alot cheaper like 10 bucks. Cause thats alot of money to invest in when u don't even know if your gonna realy enjoy the game? Cause I never realy got into the whole mmo type games before.
But u could also play solo as well .

I'm not wasting my money on a genre that is doomed. It will be free to play soon enough just try it then.

Yes. The only genre of games that is worth investing in are FPS games, because they're obviously not going to go out of business.

I would. Going to try the beta this weekend. FTP model sucks (I've played them). The developers get their money from you somehow anyway for those that cry about monthly subscriptions.

  9. i would not be willing to pay a monthly fee for teso, its hard for me to find any lasting interest in any multiplayer. it doesn't help that the game just doesn't look that great. i'm more than happy just waiting for the next single player elder scrolls game...as
long as they build a brand new engine from the ground up for it.

As much as I like and enjoy the Elder Scrolls I can't see myself shelling out extra on top. If that was the only game that I intended on playing, sure, but I like to play a variety of games and wouldn't want to pay a monthly fee and not end up playing it
    much.

  11. I agree with Az..I love the Elder Scrolls games but not for $15 a month.I have never played any MMO's and i guess i'm not starting anytime soon.I'll be happy enough waiting on the next Single Player Elder Scrolls adventure.

You say that I don't make sense? You don't even know what the world "troll" means.

I'm having trouble believing you're this stupid.

  14. The whole time I was playing Skyrim I was thinking to myself how awesome it would be if I could invite a friend into my game, so naturally I thought this could have potential. Unfortunately, like most, the fee seems too much though I guess trying it free
for a month, then paying $15 for another month could work as I'd probably be over it by then.

    -

    I guess I'm still undecided.

Your post didn't make sense because you put words in my mouth for no apparent reason. I guess you're probably just defensive because you like MMOs a lot. Well sorry but reality is reality, subscription MMOs are automatic failures since WoW came onto the
scene. ESO will need a miracle to avoid FTP.
