    So where's the good news?

You can look on most sites these days and find the bad news, is it really bad news though? from what I read it's the usual fanboys throwing insults at each other ... "My console is better than yours because" .... "Your console is crap because" .. thankfully
though these people are a very small % of gamers, most people are just getting on with enjoying their consoles, whatever one they chose.

Look past this rubbish and I don't see any major bad news ...

    As others have said ...

1 update due very soon that's going to stop a lot of complaints. Another update due around the release of Titanfall that will sort out more.

So I'd say it's mostly positive news, I mean as time goes on the nearer the game releases get So where's the good news? :)

    :)

  2. ... so where's the goods?

Go into the game and go into extras and downloadable content and download them there. Bear in mind that you only two out of four characters now and the other two will be available to download soon.

  3. ... so where's the goods?

I recently bought the season pass (not from the Marketplace), redeemed the code on the receipt, downloaded the pass and then confirmed the purchase in game when I was prompted... then I go to the character select screen... and still no extra characters!!!
Is anyone else having this problem???? Anyone that can help??? Thanks.

    So where's the good news?

Ah, no. Not at all. I'm not exactly sure how that ties in with the question exactly either. I'm not preaching doom and gloom. Just wondering where the positive articles are. Unless I'm missing something they're very - very - limited. Meanwhile, the
competitions available info is the polar opposite. You can look at everything from Forbes.com to IGN, to a crapsite like N4G and the trends are the same.

EDIT: That was a reply to Burnin TODI.

If Im going to keep replying, I'll do the HTML thing to avoid confusion lol

Maybe its where you get your news?? I only go to a select few sites, Polygon.com is my favorite....because they pretty much stick to facts of the news, they moderate their comments section and keep the trolls out.

I like my console but I do complain a little bit. That's ok, it's my right. I'm glad the update will hopefully fix some of the things I've been complaining about. Also, new games should start rolling out soon.

OP please just learn to SEARCH the internet. Sounds like you are googling "Xbox bad news". Anything will have negativity behind it if you look hard enough. And all you are doing is responding to positive comments with negativity. It's people like you that
make me not want to return to this site. Please clean the junk out of your ears and LISTEN to what these people are saying.

This is not true I Google just the word Xbox to come on this site and everyday I see bad news on major sites as the top hits so it's a much bigger problem then you would like to think.

Sorry, but IGN, gamespot, and kotaku are sites that just post stories to flamebait....they might have some true facts in their stories, but the story titles and authors just incite people in the hopes of page hits....

Yeah, believe me, I'm not looking for negativity. Its just there, right on the surface.

The PR dept needs to step it up. Like I mentioned, if you went in blind on a search for which next gen console to get there's a real good chance you would walk away from your computer thinking the XB1 is a mess, maybe even a huge mess from the actual articles
    you would find.

That's because the sites you are visiting have bias.....MS will put out a press release (with for example, news for the upcoming updates) and writers on those sites will put their little "jab" into the article at the end....then they can get a comments section
filled with fanboy arguments and get page hit payments.....If you want good news, just get Major Nelson's Twitter feed or XBOX RSS feeds. Doesn't matter what MS PR does, they are still going to have haters and bias (same as Sony, Nintendo, Google, Apple, etc.)
what matters is where you get your news, and whether that source is biased or not.

    So where's the good news?

It's not bias it's facts, Microsoft spend a ton of money trying to control what google show up top and we all no they have no problem buying people off.

The thing is Microsoft pissed off a large chunk of there user base and now they pay the price it's there fault. but op your wasting your time most of the people who post here don't care about facts they are just going to defend everything Xbox does and be very
    emo about it.

[/quote]Oh, the irony of that statement - I was doing exactly that when I read your post... So where's the good news? :p

In regards to bias, though, anything is biased if it's even remotely a review or done by the developers of said product. However, at least the developers are the primary source of information. A primary source of information is almost always a better source
of information than a secondary source of information. < < Wow, say that sentence 3x fast. So where's the good news? ;)

Don't care about the res or FPS. it gameplay and replay value. If you go but res and FPS. you might pick up a tred of a game.
