    I havent had any probs with xbox locking up since update and the forums work fine for me.

    The reason you're having this issue is because you've purchased the game using an account in the United Kingdom. If you're on vacation in Spain you'd need to to go back to the United Kingdom before you're able to successfully download this game. Some games
    on Xbox LIVE are region locked, this means that you will not be able to successfully download them unless the county where your account is registered to and where you're physically located matches.

    So if your account is in the United Kingdom, to ensure you don't experience issues downloading content your physical location must also be in the United Kingdom (determined by IP address and some other factors).
