So when I’m by myself in a party my voice chat works but when I invite someone to a party...

I have the same problem actually everyone on my friends list is having the same issue with ALL games not just one, all of us also have OPEN NAT. 360 party works fine but just as the above comments it seems everyone is having issues with party chat, only
two people at most can turn on voice or sometimes none of us can.

Also why is it set so that we have to turn on voice chat? can't ms make it like 360 so that when you invite someone to a party they are automatically in party chat and if they want to switch to game chat they can have a separate option to do so.

Makes no sense to have everyone start in game chat when you purposely join a party to TALK in party chat???? im confused lol

I think they were in a hurry to get everything going for launch, but that is no excuse, they have lots of workers making lots of $$$.

Party chat: when someone invites me to a party in-game, I have to "Enable Party chat". Why can't it be like before: someone invites me to a party; I except - I'm in...no need to enable party chat...

You have to form an Xbox Live Party first and then invite party to game. Also, you have to be on the ship when you do this or it will not work. Finally in order to talk to each other you have to keep the party snapped or voice chat will not work. It is
a known glitch.

Let's refresh the console's system cache and see if this can help.

NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Console info

5. Select Reset console.

6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

This will also help sync the data on your console properly.

If this does not help, you may also try checking your NAT type as this might be affecting connecting with other friends.

When I invite someone to party or join someone it says connecting and then it’s will say party chat disconnected and then I can’t join any of my friends does any one know how to fix?
