So... What's Your Favorite Free Game From GWG On The One So Far?

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood.

Where's my two NEW games with gold as promised?

GWG on the xbox one is different from the 360.

You get one free game per month plus one game carried over from the previous month.

It was never promised that we would get two new games per month.

The only exception was last month when we got double the usual new games to celebrate 100,000,000 downloads of the free gwg games.

GWG on the xbox one works exactly as it should.

 

Backwards compatibility is going to be deemed a success or failure depending on the publishers..

if your purchase, or installed/started the install, or added the game to your library while it was/is gwg from MS Store, and is on the BC list, it will be free to re-install on the One

 

Yep, same, tried Limbo last night and liked it but got stuck real quick, not GwG but free for me.

 

I still need to finish it, but I guess it would be Guacamelee. I know a lot of people don't like it, but it's a pretty decent metroidvania-brawler, I think.

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood would be a close second. It was pretty fun for a while, but I eventually got bored of it.

 

Yeah Max was also my favorite. I hope there's a sequel. Maybe we'll get to play as both brothers in some crazy co-op!! Just an idea lol.

 

My favorite has been Max, followed by Guacamelee. I also love Limbo, though that's not a GwG game.

 

Mine so far would have to be Guacamelee though when I get more time with Worms, if it ends up being as fun as I remember it being when I was younger, it may take first place.

 

Guacamelee hands down, but Limbo is good too. I like Max, but I bought that before they started the free games.

 

Lococycle...or when it gets released next month hopefully since I'm holding out for free sht. lol

 

I remember one time Microsoft put out this great game for GwG that I really liked. But then it turned out that it wasn't Microsoft, it was my girlfriend. And it wasn't a game, it was waffles. Still pretty cool, though.

 

I haven't tried Worms yet, but Max is at the Top at the mo.

 

Max: The Curse Of Brotherhood; only G.W.G. I played to the end. Guacamelee would be a close second as I'll probably get around to finishing it; believe I'm on the last fight. Worms Battlegrounds I'll chip away at for awhile.

Max was good but I think Guacamelee hit more of a sweet spot for the puzzles for me. Very close between those 2. Both quality.

 

I paid for Max months before it was free, and its still the best game offered so far.
