wolfenstein is def 1080p 60fps digital foundry even did there little test and not once did it go below 60fps on ps4 or xbox one for me res and fps doesnt matter i play mass effect 1 and trust me that game is bad i mean i load a game and the ground etc doesnt
load for a few seconds but it dont bother me i enjoy playing it

just coz a game is 1080p doesnt mean it has better graphics i mean killzone is 1080i online TF is 792p yet TF has more pixals then killzone yet killzone looks good and so does TF even though TF is on a old engine

I posted this in a thread the other day but the answer is simple, take a racing game for example, at 1080p/60fps it will look like this,

anything less than 1080/60fps it will look like this

This is why 1080p/60fps is King and anything less just isn't worth bothering about

You know what needs a remake? The Great American Cross-Country Road Race. That game was awesome back on my Atari 800.

I think a lot of console gamers use resolution as ammo because if you truly cared about resolution you would be on the PC and would not touch a game that does not run in full-HD because your eyes would bleed. Most people can't
tell the difference between 1080p and 720p for different reasons (there is a difference there of course).

I have a PC that can run most games in 1080p 60FPS and a few in 1080p 30FPS, but I spend more time on my Xbox One even though a lot of the games on the Xbox One are 720p - 900p.

1080p doesn't represent 'good' graphics. It represents resolution. I think many are confused by this, as someone above said.

Like 24 said, its all fanboy BS. Some kids use it as a way to justify getting a PS4 over XB1 or just Sony ponies trying to bring down the Xbox instead of actually playing their console. Sony & some media outlets perpetuate the situation but no one is really

1. It's not ammo for fanboys. If anything it's anti ammo for ppl who wish they had 1080p deep down It's 2014....it should be standard.

2. If you're applying that "the graphics don't impress" and you're blaming 1080p....then you don't really know what you're talking about. Graphics don't consist of "it's 1080p so it looks GREAT!!!". Textures have to be good, there has to be some sort of
AA and lighting....everything.

The Textures in Wolfenstein look like last gen type in some areas. The are blurry and stretched. The game is fun, and in many parts the graphics are fine, but it's idTech 5....the same engine RAGE was done in I believe....so it's not like it's a revolutionary
new generation engine.

TL;DR - 1080p doens't automatically mean you'll have good graphics...please understand what you're talking about before you start throwing pennies.

It's a VIDEO game....the video is just as important as the game part. This "naturalist revolution" of "I play games not graphics" is a joke. Eye candy has always been part of this machine.
