So what is your haul this Ultimate Game Sale go round?

It's awesome mate, but I really got into it because I realised there was this little horror mystery to it when I just thought it was a scary faceless man in the forest and had no story to it. So in the end my mind was kind of a little blown as to what really
transpired with the Slender man.

It also has unique scares unlike some horror games where you get used to the 'jumps' the worst is collecting a page, turning around and Slender man is right in your face when you didn't expect him, haha.

It's not the best game, but after playing I do see how it got to this 'cult' status among the online community and that is kind of the reason I first played it. See what the fuss was about.

Ultimate Game Sale discounts don't seem to be working.

I'm still on the fence if I should pick up MKX.

 

^If you need any kind of a nudge it's actually been incredibly well received on this forum and I personally hadn't played an MK since 6 and well X is just amazing. This coming from someone who buys a fighting game once every 3 or 4 years though, so I guess
take that for what you will, haha.

If you don't decide to get it, there's always next time and I'm sure we'll see it on sale again this year.

Your recommendation means a lot given that I don't buy that many fighting games either. It's interesting i've had a few others tell me they love it even though they aren't even all that in to fighting games as well.

 

I think MS might have missed up on naming the "Ultimate Game Sale". It should have been called the the "Meaningless and Trivial Games no one really wants Game Sale".

 

I had posted here before and now can't find it? To cut a long story short, I had my location as U.S while playing BC games and never turned it back to Australia. I go to look at the sales and think that it's reasonably decent, went to buy lords of the Fallen
for $24 and ms wants my credit card details which I found strange, it's gets to state/province and the the only choice is U.S states. So I see the problem and change my country back to Australia. Well looky looky here, Lords of the Fallen is suddenly $39.99.
I'm like, are you &*^%ing kidding me? for this second rate game? Instead I went to the shop and bought what I was after on disc for less then the ultimate sale prices.

 

Lego batman deluxe edition and mass effect to test out backwards compatibility. All the other stuff I either already have or didn't interest me. Some of the 360 titles are tempting though but I have no way of playing them or don't know if they will be backward
compatible in the future or not.

 

I picked up the Saints Row bundle.

First time I've ever played a Saints Row game. It's great fun. Loads of humor, and great gameplay mechanics.

Wanted to pick up more but I've such a massive backlog of games AND with all the great games coming out from next month onward, I resisted.

 

I'm with LF and LK on this - I saw nothing that interested me or that I didn't already have.

 

So far just AC Chronicles. Still on the fence about picking up screamride. I want it but I think I can wait till it's even cheaper and/or a GWG.

 

havent seen anything worth buying except lego batman...

 

Not a thing worth buying for me...either already have em or not interested in em.....
