So What Do You Think Of Microsoft's VR Headset?

I like the idea, but I don't want to buy into an accessory. I want VR to be held off till a future generation where it's part of the console, like Kinect is with the Xbox One. I want plenty of time to be spent on it and I want graphical technology to be
at the point where if I am going to be playing a VR game, I want it to be as if it really is reality.

 

Have fun buying the PSeye when you shell out cash for this thing.

 

We'll they beat MS to it like with storage. Own a PS3 or PS4 drop in a 1t hd, another thing MS are working on.

 

I can see VR headsets selling well because it's new impressive tech, but I don't see it lasting long. How many people will want to have a VR headset on their person, but who knows. Microsoft are most likely working on their own
virtual reality headset, but I think it will be a gimmick. I personally just want to sit down, hold a controller and relax.

Riiiight. Drop in a 1tb hd and lose 500gb. Lol. I want to ADD storage to the 500gb I have in the XB1, not remove it.

Depending on the format of the drive, you may lose a lot of available storage. At least that's what I've heard, I've never bought an external HD for Xbox.

 

But you lose the 500GB you took out. With the X1 you will just keep chaining HD's on, no lost storage.

That is some crazy thinking if you put a 1tb into a PS4 you will gain 500gb it has to be in the right format or it will not work. The os is a fixed size. Are you honestly using the angle that external is better then internal cause that is just strange.

 

Can i just say that xbox one WILL support external hard drives the ps4 WILL NOT sony have alredy comfirmed this

 

External is ok but it's not as good as internal no way. Why would Sony do it when you can go to the store and get a cheap fast internal upgrade right now.

People who want to have a bunch of external HDD hanging of there console be my guest but not me nice and clean.

External drive = easy carry to my friends and family, thus I can take my games and not have to re-download them when I get there. Easier than taking the whole console (would rather drop and damage an external drive than the console while transporting).

 

I don't know I am grown and don't carry my HDD around.But wouldn't you just have to log in at there house your saves are on the cloud these days

And if you wanted to you could remove your HDD from your Playstation I have not done it on the PS4 yet but I imagine it's just like on the PS3 open the door on the side un screw 1 little screw slide it out it dosn't require opening up the console case.

 

If I visit my Sister for xmas (two weeks) it is nice to take only a HDD and plug it in.....not like I carry a 2TB external drive in a fanny pack where ever I go. And you would still have to load a game on their drive if they didn't have the games I like
to play. The saves and my gamer data might be in the cloud, but all my nieces and nephews are too young to play the M rated games, thus would not have the game loaded already. Plus, I wouldn't want to swap out a internal drive as that means they don't have
instant access to their games when they want.
