So, What Did You Get?

Dust is pretty awesome from what I've played.

 

Picked up Dark Souls today, haven't played much of it but so far I'm enjoying it. I like how you have to think about each enemy you take on rather than hacking and slashing your way through about 10 enemies (Fable 3 style). Glad I picked this up, can't
believe I held out on getting it for so long, but for £3.97 or whatever it is I paid for it, definitely worth the money!

 

I haven't gotten anything from the sale so far. I told myself, no games until I clear my backlog up a little. So tempting doe! I kinda wanna get Dust now.

 

I got Dust, always wanted to play it and couldn't say no for 2.99 as well as motocross madness. It's probably terrible, but again, couldn't say no for the price.

 

I picked up TWD S2E1 for 80p, and played through it earlier tonight. Great game, enjoyed it.

I also grabbed Brothers on the same day but have yet to play it.

 

I got Dark Souls in the previous DotW when it was 5$, so I'll add that one into this list, but I got Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Dirt 3, Pool Nation, and will probably get Oblivion (one of today's) since my disc is scratched to ***.

 

@Maxen13: Brothers is an excellent game. Probably one of my favorite arcade games next to Bastion.

Still tempted to get Dust, but meh. When does the sale end? Does anyone know?

 

Weekly deals last until some time on tuesday (GMT+1). Not sure exactly when, but I wouldn't wait too long. I say get Dust, really great game in my opinion.

Have not bought anything but Mass effect and Arkham city were a good price. Probably just buy the disk versions of the games though as I prefer disks over digital downloads. Don't get me wrong digital versions are just as good as disk versions but my preference
is game disks, something tangible to keep.

 

I grabbed Arkham city and Alan Wakes American nightmare. Arkham city gameplay is Meh, but the story line is god damn incredible.

[/quote]Not really much I can recommend. Portal 2 was really good in my opinion. Loved the gameplay and the humor was right up my alley. Arkham City was pretty good, even for non-Batman-fans like myself. The free-flow combat feels just right. And though
the story itself is pretty linear I always like having a sense of freedom in a game.

Other than those two, not so much. Limbo, but I noticed you already played it. Alan Wake's arcade sequel isn't nearly as good as the original but might be worth a look if you're into arcade style survival. Mass Effect pretty pretty much speaks for itself.
I want to recommend Asura's Wrath, but I haven't started it yet myself. Varying styles of gameplay presented in a story split into several anime-like episodes. that's what I imagine it to be at least. Fable III...I enjoyed...but the gameplay was less than
stellar. Didn't play the rest.

 

Nothing. Bummed I missed out on MGR:R and Dark Souls though.

 

Ended up getting MGR after all. Y'know, for all the flak Sonic games have been getting as of late, I'm really digging Generations. You guys should check it out if you have the chance.
