    I only use the One Smartglass app on my Ipad and haven't experienced those issues myself. And I have it running all the time, only ever force close if im shutting down all apps once in a blue moon.

    And im not sure what you mean really, as Smartglass functions work without the console being switched on exactly the same as when the console is on for most functions.

    I use Android devices Genchy, so it is possibly an issue on that platform.

    Ah I edited Vaynel to add to my post. I guess the issue could be with Android maybe another Androidee could shed light.

    So this is where everybody is

    If Smartglass is running before I turn the console on then it wont find it. I'll just get the no console found message.

    Closing the app fully, ensuring it is not running at all, and then restarting it fixes the issue. The console gets found straight away.

    This means that if I leave Smartglass running I can use it as a standalone app but it becomes useless as a remote for the console, since it wont find it.

    Hopefully that is a more easily understandable explanation.

    Yes I understand but that's not how my smartglass works, connects with the console whether it's already running or not.

    And that is excellent for you. However it isn't how mine works.

    That is the issue. When Smartglass works it is great as a remote for the 360 or the One. When it doesn't it is an annoyance.

    Dangerboy is bang on with his posting, even though the fan boys label everyone a troll cos they have different views.

    A view is not the end of the world but just a opinion nothing more. I done 6 years on Live and still am contributing in some way. But now i have to operate in stealth just to read and reply and that's becoming boring these days.

    At the end of the day gamers are just losing interest all together.

    I am trying to find some info about the xbox one. I am fixing to get one tomorrow and I was wondering about the games I have purchased and downloaded for my 360. If the 1 has the same games available, will I have to purchase them again or just redownload?

    LOL. Yeah Reddit and pretty much anywhere else. It doesn't help that the gamer cards just no longer apply for XB1. I think it was the re-format they did. I mainly started using the site again to contact friends on the 360, now that msg's work cross gen,
    it'll eventually stop. Man I wish the XB1 had a chat pad.
