So this is how MS handles customer service?

Never in my history of doing business with Microsoft have I ever had as much trouble as I ran into today.

I stupidly pre-ordered the Sunset Overdrive bundle from the MS store (the pre-order stand etc. didn't make it) and was excited to play.
Bzzzt! No play for you!
The system ate the code for the day one game. I called into CS and they for some odd reason had no way to fix the problem unless I PAID FOR IT AGAIN which they would then refund. As I was left with a useless console at that point I said ok because I was
assured they would refund it right back. I stayed on the phone for the entire process.
The system spit back out there was a problem purchasing the content again. Ok, try again. It finally took it. Unknown to us the system in fact CHARGED us each time it claimed it wasn't accepted. The result? 3 charges to my credit card which cannot be refunded
by your system. I was immediately notified by my bank's fraud division while I was on the phone with CS. That's right, the bank called me because they saw the shenanigans as it was happening.
One of the charges got "refunded" into the microsoft account (which doesn't let me buy groceries last I checked) and there is no way to undo that according to CS instead of refunding to the card used. My only option was to dispute the charges. I was told
there wouldn't be a problem with the dispute but frankly, I just don't trust Microsoft at this point. I'm thinking of getting a full refund and heading over to Sony. I'm stuck waiting to see if my account is overdrafted within the next week because your system
is broken and set up to defraud customers. If I paid by card, I expect a *** refund by card. Your system not allowing it is a ***-poor excuse because you have no problem TAKING THE MONEY multiple times.
I've spent hours today trying to fix this nonsense.

24 hr suspension appeal

Hi there,

I am sorry, but we arent able to handle anything in regards to suspensions. MS Customer Support might be able to assist, but chances are by now your suspension is just about over. Just be careful going forward how you behave and you should be fine

 

Streaming interrupted

Yeah, this is the danger with the way MS is handling things. The longer it takes, the more belief you lose in the people you donated all that money to, and that costs customers later on down the road. It's like getting mad you stepped on a nail so you smash the top of your foot with a hammer, it doesn't make sense.
