So Thief is not 1080p.

and as i said before, Some devs will lead on xb1 and you will have visual and feature partiy on mutiplats,

Some will lead on PS4 (like 360 was the lead last gen) and the Xbox one wont be able to be competitve.

Or some devs will middle ground the Dev on PC, port both down, and only let raw deltas determine the ports quality.

The only thing miscrosft can do is payola devs for exclusive or timed exclusive games and features. (like titan fall, or split screen for PVZGW)

 

Before i go, I find it sad, that microsft could not make a console competitive to the PS4. (from a performance delta standpoint)

The ignorant are going to parrot "lazy devs" everytime the xb1 gets a lesser port. its not the DEVS FAULT.

The devs spend hard time making the game. its there right to choose the lead platform and how to take advantage of performance delta.

It's not the devs fault. The people on here need to accept the facts.

That's what urks me the most. the mix of blaming devs and people trusting MS PR and narrative.

The taste in games and services are your own. Xbox one has its own stuff. But im just sick and tired of the "lazy devs" and "it will get better" mantra that comes off the hopeless that got socially engineered by MS PR....

Its funny you say that harra because ive posted links in past thread from great sources and they had clear measuable metrics and data and you dismissed them as "paid sony lies" You are a prime example of a victim of PR social engineering.

 

The PS4 may well be more powerful, but it doesn't have Titanfall, and I love Titanfall. And before people start with the "It's on Xbox 360" that's not a PS4. "It's on PC" that's not a PS4. Between the Xbox One, and the PS4, Xbox One has Titanfall, PS4 does
not. Game. Set. And match as far as this consumer is concerned.

@Froward I was generic for a reason. I do have more of slight knowledge of some things. I am not a dev nor an expert. I do know that things will get better with resolutions on the Xbox one. But also, I know that things will get better with playstation.
I am pro gamer and was not bashing Sony over Microsoft. I mentioned lazy devs and should have left that out or better explained myself. There are a lot of great devs out there who work hard and I enjoy their work.

we share a lot in common. ur sick of these threads, as am I, slightly different resons tho. Im bring arguments for both sides, as I said you will see 1080p games on xb1 if the dev uses xbox as a lead platfrom and its part of those devs render targets.

AMD is under heavy NDA from both sides, but its safe to say given the widening gap (look at MGS5 GZ complete feature list between ps4 and xb1 now) Ps4 has what xbox 1 lacks.

MGS:GZ was a very lazy port on Xbox consoles by a Japanese dev, it's obvious. A much fairer comparison is Killzone: SF and Ryse: SOR, both of which look incredible and run at 30fps (or an extremely variable 60fps in multiplayer in the latter). Ryse has the
"nice looking stuff" whereas KSF went for the resolution, and I think Ryse looks just a TINY bit better, but only for still images. They are literally identical quality if you don't look directly for jaggies and effects.
