I am amazed at how amazing this game is going to be, yet there are not a lot of people talking about it on these forums. that's crazy. I seriously hope a lot of people are going to be playing this game, because im giving up gta5 to play this game.

I like how the game is changing but its the player base that ruins it for me. I run around just to get killed by people sitting in corners with an smg. Lag compensation is terrible as well

 

Wow Zone I know this game is going to be great.. but giving up on GTAV, really? That seems a little too much.

 

great, looks like you caught me lol yea Im done with gta bro, I only go on now days to free roam in a car, get chased by some crazy person who wants to kill me for no reason, do a mission or 2, then im off to something else. I cant sit there and play it
like I use to, and then that whole thing with bad 2020 and his crew just pushed me even further away. he was right about 1 thing though, taking forever does pay you well, but I don't like that change. I don't like taking long doing anything really, unless
its racing, or sleeping.

this game is going to be something different. something Ive always wanted and didn't realize it. basically free roam halo. i don't know about a lot of other people, but i can do that all day, by myself, with someone, doesn't matter, its the view, and the
things you can do, and then destiny being way better than halo makes it a whole lot better for me. im not really good at any fps games, but i am good at halo 4 and destiny, especially destiny considering everyone is your partner most the time.

 

Yeah I really don't like that you get rewarded for taking long on missions. But its nice to actually play other missions and get paid a decent amount.

Did you play the beta? The movement and everything just felt perfect. I use to play COD and Halo a lot back in the day, but haven't really enjoyed a FPS in a while. But I really enjoyed the beta. Even after hitting the level cap I just kept playing. I just
hope it is released as a digital download on day one for 360.

 

I could not agree more that the beta was perfect. i heard it was a test to make sure that at launch the game runs smoothly, i hope it works out. I was never a fan of COD, but i played farcry 2 and 3, fallout 3, skyrim, defiance, dishonored, a little battlefield,
halo 1,2, 3, odst, reach, 4, and i still feel like compared to other people, i wouldn't be a match. im more bout that campaign life when it comes to fps. i actually wished far cry 3 was longer, or never ended.

as far as gta5, yea its cool that people don't just want to play rooftop rumble anymore, and its also cool that more people want to play the missions, but dumming down the pay to force people to take longer to get the full pay out, that's not cool man, that's
just unnecessary. the good thing is when i do play gta i don't really need to do missions anyway since i have every car i want, but ive been waiting for heist to come out for so long, its going to be a year already and still no heist, that's funny

 

Yeah I've just about given up on heists. I've been waiting and hoping and they just keep delaying it, keeping silent, and ignoring players.

 

I too am befuddled by this lack of forum-postery.

 

Probably has to do with the insane "Centipede" issues and disconnection happening. It was to be expected that the servers would get overwhelmed but having users change their proxy settings to make the game run better is ridiculous. Oh gee, have to
remove my firewall to make the inbound and outbound information run smoothly. Damnit!!! Now I need a techy from my internet provider.

 

As for the OP, not a lot of people know about these boards. Xbox has them buried for some reason.

 

probably for the xbox one I guess, at any rate, im loving this game. im a level 11 now, and my warlock is like super powerful. I seriously wonder what bungie is going to do with this game for the next 10 years. hopefully they add more land to each planet
as far as the map size goes. it would be cool to go to a planet that has a map size as big as fallout or skyrim, hope im not asking for too much on that, but that would be awesome. I could play on earth for hours alone, and the moon is freakin awesome. the
graphics are not like I thought they would be but its probably because its 720p on the 360. now I have a good reason to get the xbox one, only if I can keep my level though, but this is a good enough reason for me. other than destiny, forza horizon, and the
crew, I really wouldn't have a reason to get the xbox one, I just want to play these games at top performance with other people that I know on live. I hopefully the graphics is better on the xbox one as well, but if its not, my 360 is handling the game better
than gta5. love the speed, no lag, the smoothness, cant wait to see what else bungie does with this game.
