A player impersonating a Microsoft Employee

I was recently playing a game of Black ops 2, And usually i tend to do rather, good, which i was managing to do, and on a round i was rather proud of, i managed to get 22 kills an 0 deaths. As soon as we entered the lobby.

Obviously people began to leave because of it, and when that happend, i got a message from a recent player, Lets call this recent player "Junior". So in this Voice message Junior, Stated he was a
Microsoft Employee and how he know's i was "Cheating".

Keep in mind this was just because of the score i managed to achieve. After i listened too the message a second time
Junior Stated, he was a
Microsoft worker, and said how he is going to have my account banned. along with multiply other's on my account.

Now obviously my response wasn't very nice considering he was just another angry player, threatening to have a player's account banned along with his console. Junior and his friends already had someone else's account banned.

My response to him would be exactly like everyone else's i laughed in the message, i sent an i told him. If he feels the need to report me he can do so, sense i know im playing without a cheat for the game or anything.

My point is, why is he account not banned yet ? If i filed a complaint, probably hour's ago if not more. an he was still active. i had to block him to get away from his ignorance.

Xbox isn't doing their jobs at all.

I got every single message I recieved. I had people impersonating employees of games and microsoft employees. They got away freely.

Microsoft employees cannot designate themselves as such. So someone is impersonating an employee. Sounds like a modded lobby as well.

File a complaint on his tag and talk to the game producer about the ranking.

 

It can take time for the enforcement team to investigate and take action. They receive thousands of complaints a day and have a small team to investigate them all.

 

Please be aware he may have been warned of such an infraction, to have an outright ban on anyone "blowing steam" can be seen as a bit of a knee jerk reaction.

People are jumping all over the team responsible for banning to quickly for minor infractions, if they have reviewed the logs, they may just warn or not see it as sufficient for a ban.

Trust the team, and sure enough if will be investigated and they decide, then action will be taken, but its only your role to help the team, its not your call who will be banned or not.
