    Hello, Hello! If you have the beta tab on your dash, you were added to the beta and one of the Support Team or Beta Team members will get you squared away after seeing this thread; it'll just take a little more patience now.

    However, if you don't see the beta tab, you did not get chosen for the beta and will not get access to the forums.

    I played it for 2 weeks and realized it was trash. Gears 1 destroys Gears 2.



    But, I will say, Gears 3's beta slightly edges out Gears 1.

    -I tried playing Gears 1 again for the first time since the Bulletstorm access to the beta, (and I was VERY good at Gears 1 prior to the beta) and I was absolutely terrible.

    After the fluidity in the beta, Gears 1 just felt... wrong.

    It froze when it was loading the map for the first time and it's frozen another 3 times after that. Does your rank from the beta get carried over to the final game? I played the beta but my rank is back to 1.

    is it just me?

    I can't even play Gears 2 anymore after the 6th update came out and i've played the beta for a month solid every day. So for me, no the beta doesn't play at all like Gears 2. It's much faster paced, the weapons all feel nice , the servers get rid of the
    lag switching... It's the best gears yet. Heck, the beta is more solid than a lot of games being shoved out the door these days. I'd buy it as-is.
