^Its a known scientific fact that the beer fridge is always fundamentally too far away, even when its at arms length it should still be closer.

The more I learn about "next gen." The more I come to appreciate the mindful engineering of last gen.

 

Personally with your attitude I would rather you stayed last gen, it suits you better. All you do on here is whinge and moan about a product you know nothing about.

 

Duff should really keep his ignorant comments to himself...the fact is they got people used to this kind of "laziness" as you call it, I call it mere convenience with last generation having better consumer friendly functions and not mimicking pcs by having
to plug in controllers and update them like drivers for graphic cards...the whole idea of a console is convenience and why people chose it over pc's...if we have to update everything before we play we might as well just play on pcs right? I was used to wireless
controllers assigning themselves, not having to have a cord across my room, not having to update a controller every few months (now with no notification as to when the update should occur). I'm glad most people dont think like you though duff...you seem full

Haha you miss my point completely! I do love the fact though that all you people seem to want new things and a "new" generation but is all you seem to scream about is that's its not like last gen! And call me ignorant if you wish. In a world of starving
children, disease, suffering and wars, I'm not the one complaining about the fact that my controller doesn't do exactly as "I" want it to! Like I said.....first world problems!

If you take the pack off your current controller and then power up the new one does it assign then? Might be that your other one is still on so it thinks a second player is joining maybe?

Yet, it seems that in some people's thinking that 1st world mentality should be reverting back to the stone age. And if 1st world Citizens don't get with the program, then. "You're lazy."

I also use a dock for my 2 controllers and like to just swap them out. I had the same problem once and tried to help Below before.

As I said its fixed for me now and I believe it was just a bug in the software. I have noticed that when you go to devices now it does tell you if your controllers are up to date without even having to even try to update.

 

question about the docks... how long does it take for it get a full charge.. and when they are charging... are they not "on" and already assigned to a second player... I am sure that might be the issue.. at least pre updating..

Anyways... I ask about the time as my plug & charge takes about 15 minutes or so to get a full charge...
