So much security it's disruptive and unnecessary

today i wanted to download kane and lynch 2 on my girlfriend's xbox one s and she didn't have a bank card so i tried to use mine and i was bombarded with security questions which eventually managed to lock her account. You shouldn't have to have a bank card
to download a free game but Microsoft thinks that it's "protection" also i have been with Microsoft for about 3 years now and i am still being asked security questions. I know security is important but these stupid unnecessary questions and requirements are
awful. I'm upgrading to a xbox 360 when the xbox security wasn't so broken.

Rude and Disruptive Players.

I have a huge issue with the Xbox Community, I have been a supporter to beta testing for Microsoft as well as a fan to xbox for some time now, I have a lot to say and well if its defensive then so be it, This country gives us all the right to speak our peace
and our mind its called Freedom of speech and I will use it.

My main concern is there are a lot of rude people on xbox, i have seen this a lot and it seems there is nothing being done about it. you try to be nice to people and they come back at you with some kind of a rude message like **** or *** off. i don't appreciate
that and further more i don't appreciate *** holes, i have gotten suspended one time before because someone thought my bio was defensive, i am very sorry but i am 25 years old i pay my bill for xbox live not Microsoft there for i think i should be able to
put what i want in my bio, if its a concern about little kids then people need to keep there kids off of xbox and put them on Nintendo.

Another thing with that if that's an issue then i think Microsoft should have separate servers for little kids and ones for adults because last i checked xbox is centered around middle aged adults from 18 and up not below 18, As well as this Rep system i
have seen has flaws, everyone gets pissy or mad then gives you bad rep for no appointed reason which is bad cause no one gives good rep at all. if its an issue and you don't believe me put a monitoring system and see how many do give good rep and how many
give bad rep, i mean come on this is Microsoft you have the power to do anything and make anything so there is really no excuses.

From my point of view i think you should focus on rude and disrespectful people more then you should worrying about people who have something in there bio or there profile.

You need the card on the account to buy "free" 360 games from the store via the Xbox One. It has always been like that with the 360 store from the Xbox One as the game isn't "free", it has a cost of $0.00 and the card is required
to complete the transaction.

The 2 stores (Xbox One and 360) are different and handle transactions in a completely different way.

Whilst I understand the frustration, as others have pointed out, updates/downloads are unavoidable... that being said, the base problem falls back to internet connection speed. I've rarely waited more than about 20 minutes for a game to update, depending
on the file size and I just have average (150dn/15up) internet service.

Also, using the console's "Instant On" feature in conjunction with going into settings and making sure that the "Keep games/apps up to date" radio button is ticked will allow the console to update games automatically while it's "turned off". Since I've been
using that feature, it's been a pretty long time since I've even had to wait for an update to a game.

Internet Expert

Allow the game to fully download/install/update before launching it. There's really no other way around it, unfortunately.

Personally, I don't trust the feature where it lets you launch the game early while it's still downloading, so I would ignore it when it pops up. Go to the "My Games & Apps" menu so you can watch the game's installation progress.
