so many silvers playing online........

ive been playing halo 3 and a variety of cods and i come across people playing mp as a silver free member........ i report every single one of them for tampering and cheating..... This happens quite often so i cant enjoy halo i search every body in lobby
making sure people are gold. Why is there so many cheaters?????

Silvers still bought a console,many accessories, games and extras.

Choosing not to want to play online with kids, modders and cheats, should not rule you out of every offer.

Why are you reporting them as cheaters just for being silver??

People use gold trials all the time that show them as silver,they are doing nothing wrong.

You`re more likely to get banned for filing false reports.

 

the people were using fresh accounts like 100 gs or less. after dealing with modders who mod online (who happen to use fresh created accounts like the one i listed). so to me it looks like a modder. i believe what you are saying but i know how modders do
things pretty well

 

Yes using new accounts, making the most of the free one month trial that comes with that account.

Every console get 3 free one month trials,they will still show as silver online.

No matter how good the modders are they cannot get online without paying or using a free trial offer.

I am currently silver yet i have access online as i have free one month trial active that was given to me.

If i joined your game of halo 3 i would show as silver ,and in your eyes be a modder for you to report.

 

owen i know what you are saying about the trials. i just wish that trial users would come up as gold. ive seen plenty of modders that brag about not paying for gold and not running off trials and they appear silver they do exist.

They are lying,they are using trials.

I don`t understand how playing against a silver member somehow ruins your game.

If they are using mods as well e.g they can`t be killed,then fair enough,but just because someone has gotten online for free how does that ruin the game for you?

If trials appeared gold how would you tell them apart?

Surely everyone would then look the same to you,only by appearing silver can you tell them apart.

 

i dont have a problem with people playing as a silver... but legit playing online without a trial on a paid service is just unfair to paying members on a paid online system

 

Just to expand on what Owen has already said here, the reason that a trial does not show up as a gold account is because it isn't a gold account. All a trial account will allow you to do is sample some of the features of gold
(ie, online play). There are gold features, such as the free "Games With Gold" games, or gold exclusive marketplace discounts that you can not access on a trial account.

People on trial accounts =/= Cheaters.

People on new accounts =/= Cheaters.

Cheaters = Cheaters.

 

Again,there is no one playing online without having paid or using a trial.

If they were that means the whole xbox live system has been hacked by a bunch of kids, just to play a ten year old game.

xbox live had not been hacked,the games may have, but xbox live has not.

 

I used a weekend code to get the Saints Row 3 and 4 upload a character achievements, a 3 Month code I got with a Xbox Live Starter Pack (controller, HDMI, 3M Gold), and a 1 Month Gold I got with the new 360 E. Each time my profile (the strip containing the
Gamertag) showed it as a Gold account, not Silver.

Now I'm on a 12M. But I've never seen a Silver GT in a MP game. That's odd. It can't be trials unless you're looking at their accounts *after* the trial is over. Incidentally the 2 day cost me 96p and was emailed in minutes... I can see how people would
find it convenient buying these if they don't use the service a lot. =)

 

Oh actually I used a 14 Day I got with Tomb Raider too, and I remember that showed me as Silver. So I'm talking out of my behind saying the 2 day showed as Gold. It probably didn't. lol

 

I am on a trial right now and i am being shown as silver.

 

Yeah I guess I was confusing the 1M and 3M Golds, with trials, I'm an idiot. {XD
