So Many Preorders... RIP Wallet

Only got The Crew and FarCry pre ordered upto now.

 

I'm for sure getting Halo: MCC, Destiny and Advanced Warfare. Everything else I'm renting... Sunset Overdrive, Evolve, Alien: Isolation, The Evil Within and Far Cry 4, and some others. Also, since I have a soft spot for indies now, I plan on getting Ori
and the Blind Forest, Below, Inside, Cuphead.. those games just look amazing. 2015 is a little scary in a good way when it comes to AAA games... The Division, Rainbow Six Siege, Battlefront, Halo 5, Homefront, COD, Zelda, Star Fox, Tomb Raider, Batman, Quantum
Break.. I just wanna go ahead and tell my wife sorry in advance.

 

I only preorder games that are street dated, meaning that the time of release is almost set in stone. And it will only be reserved a few months prior to release, unless something special.

I'm thinking I'll only be getting games that have good online features at launch, which are basically all the XB1 exclusives & Ubisoft games, no COD or BF. All single player games will be bought if I'm really bored, otherwise waiting for digital discounts,
big discounts. I want Dragon Age for $20 digitally.

 

Yeah I'm stretching my wallet too. I don't usually slam for game after game but theres been some this year (upcoming games included) that are just far too tempting.

 

This year I've spent NZ$170 on Xbox 360 stuff (incls renewing my 12M Gold n Feb) and $362 on Xbox 1 stuff. I have Tomb Raider, COD, BF4, Zoo Tycoon, Powerstar Golf, Titanfall, Kinect Sports Rivals, NFS Rivals, Watch Dogs, Forza 5, Halo Spartan Assault (got
Free with Games for Gold).... on Xbox 1.

Want Final Fantasy XV, Minecraft, Project Spark THE FULL VERSION NOT BETA, and Happy Wars. I will get Minecraft The 1st Day I find out it's available on Xbox 1 which is sometime in August and will get it digital. And yay Xbox 360 owners get MC at a discount
price from some news released by Microsoft and the game devs. I also will get anything Halo and maybe Forza Horizon 2. I'm also a Day 1 Xbox 1 owner too. Even though I love to play on my Xbox 360 way more.

 

Good choices, SSB! You'd be getting 4 games for the price of just over 1! MC is only $5 for you since you have it on the 360 and both Project Spark and Happy Wars will be available for free. The only 1 you'd have to really pay for with a large sum of money
is FFXV, which would go for $60. Too bad you don't live in the U.S. :|

 

I forgot to add that I have Project Spark Beta (had it for several weeks). Yes prices sound a bit steep but that's to do with currency conversion for NZ. I wish I lived in Australia sometimes. Some peps may say how many games did he get for $362, 10? It's
actually been 4 retail games + 1 Forza DLC spent $24 to get enough tokens to get a pagini (ok my spelling of it is off). Their prices are a bit lower by like $10 or $20. FFXV (if...it...ever...comes...out originally named XIII Versus first announced 2006)
would most likely cost around $100 in NZ when it comes out. To illustrate Xbox 1 with Kinect at launch costs $749 in NZ but is it only $599 in Australia. Now that's a pretty big price gap. Not to mention wages are better in Australia. One advantage we have
compared to the US is our stricter legal consumer (and privacy) rights.

I agree with the OP, September and beyond will be sick. I myself am most excited for DA:Inquisition, Destiny(noone to play it with though ) and AC5:Unity, even though AC4 has the superior setting.

But I rarely, if ever, pre-order.

 

Only game I have pre-ordered is Destiny. Don't tend to pre-order games at all.
