So, I've just purchased Game Pass ultimate and ran into two problems, need help

Would this also hold true for PC version of Game Pass Ultimate? My son already had the Gold Pass on his console. I had just purchased him a Gaming PC and Best Buy suggested the Game Pass Ultimate. I ran into the current problem while trying to install on the PC.

Unfortunately, yes. We can only purchase one month of Game Pass Ultimate from the Store page. If you want to have three months of Game Pass Ultimate, I recommend purchasing two one-month Xbox Live Gold subscriptions and then purchasing one month of Game Pass Ultimate, so you'll get a total of three months of Game Pass Ultimate.

Here's what I believe happened.

You had Ultimate, you added 6 months of Gold to it and it converted that to 3 - 4 months of Game Pass Ultimate. That conversion also cancelled your Gold. Which means when the Ultimate ran out, both Gold and Game Pass Ultimate ran out as well. So when you added the 14 day trial game pass to it, it did nothing as it is a trial subscription, it just gave you the 14 days Game Pass value you redeemed. If you don't understand it, please let me know

If you bought standard Game Pass and not Ultimate ,then it is working correctly. Gold is needed to play online. If you purchase Game Pass Ultimate, it includes a Gold subscription so you do not have to purchase it separately.

Actually I just solved my own problem. I purchased a monthly subscription of game pass ultimate and my live gold auto-converted to game pass ultimate. Yay!
