So it is 2025 and MS still does not fixed the re-download problem?

I wanted to play game before sleeping for a little bit... i turned on my PC, clicked Xbox app, updated it (another contstan update), i wanted to play game, but it starts redowloading the fo king whole game again because of the update.... its like 3rd or 4th redownload... also the download speed is tragic, and its night right now over here... PLEASE are you gonna fix it or not, because i only have one nerves....

Can you also please share what troubleshooting steps you have tried so far?

Aside from updating your Xbox app, I'd also like you to check for an update on your PC system.

Check the recent version of the Xbox app

Microsoft Store app > Downloads > Get updates/Update all

Check for the most recent version of Windows, including optional updates

PC Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates > Install

Kindly do these steps and make sure to quit any games and apps.

Please check your PC's date and time settings.

Your PC will need to have an accurate date and time value to be able to establish a connection.

On your PC, press the Start button, then select Settings.

Select Time & Language > Date & time.

Under Set time automatically, make sure the button is set to On.

Press the Window Key + S then type CMD and run as administrator and enter these commands

ipconfig/flushdns and press enter

ipconfig/registerdns and press enter

ipconfig/release and press enter.

ipconfig/renew and press enter.

netsh winsock reset and press enter.

Press the Windows Key + S then type Delivery Optimization

- 'Advanced settings - 'and select "Absolute Bandwidth'

- make sure that there are no other checks on any of the boxes

Ahhhh hopefully a fix will be released soon with a lot having this issue i've deleted and re downloaded it still does the same!

And it's still happening … nice to see that Microsoft support is so "Johnny on the spot".

Just to let you know, even though this does NOT fix the problem -- you are not the only experiencing this problem - and like you said - it seems MS does not consider this a High Priority Problem!

Same problem here. I also tried uninstalling season pass and re downloading/installing but same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Go to your download history and re download it.

Open the menu Xbox Menu and go to the right all the way, choose account management. Click on Download History. Scroll down to Nuketown 2025 and hit Download Again.
