    So is Xbox One S a next gen console or just a One S akin to 360S?


    so is Xbox Scorpio/Xbox One S just another 360S but on the One console or will there be Xbox One S exclusive games made in 4K with next gen hardware or is this another version of the Xbox One S that just upscales games to 4K? I want to buy a next gen console,
    like the jump from the Xbox to the 360 or 360- the Xbox One. Please post advice with supportive facts/links cuz I don't need another version of the One. I want to play exclusive games that will only be playable and made for the One S. HELP PLEASE!!

    Xbox One S Console Eludes Me...

    The new Xbox One S slim version console is the only next gen era gaming console that I've "NOT" had the oppertunity to purchase as of yet folks, hmmm, should I actually get the new Xbox One S console?!

    Because over 140 million Xbox 360/PS3's have been sold. 0 Xbox One/PS4's have been sold.

    It's basically just the One/One S with full 4k capabilities. Everything will play and basically work the same on all 3 types of Ones, but will look better on the One X.

    well, thats a big let down. Why did they release a Xbox One S, when this fills the same needs a One S? I guess I should be glad a tradee my One S into Gamestop while it still had value. I can guarantee in 2018 the true next gen console will be out and
    hopefully they have VR to go with it. Wheres the next Halo? Xbox believes in this console wo little that they're saving that for 2018 and the true successor to Xbox One.

    How do you discuss a refund with Microsoft?

    Because they use the same markerplace

    It's best to note that next gen games are 89 bucks and up or labeled cross gen

    Also next gen games MUST be put on internal storage oe storage card

    Xbox one s is NOT series S

    Series consoles are just xbox series s/x

    Xbox one games don't have a requirement just xbox one

    With ea though readd the dual entitlement requirements for more info

    If this game is backward compatibility, I mean Xbox 360 games or Xbox Classic, so yes you can. If you mean Xbox One Games there is nothing different if you are play before your Xbox One S on Xbox One, still you can play these games on Xbox One S or Xbox
    ONE X. When the next-gen Xbox console is in 2020, the Xbox Classic, Xbox 360 and Xbox One will also play on the next generation of Xbox.

    there is a digital only Xbox One S called the Xbox One S Digital Edition. this is not the next gen console, it's simply an Xbox One with no disc drive.

    Microsoft haven't released anything about the next generation yet so anything about it is pure speculation.
