    So is this xbox live issue ever going to be fixed? SERVICE INFO IS UNAVAILABLE


    This is happening to many people and nothing is being done about it. Xbox live support doesn't know anything. Don't tell me to check the status of xbl or to do a hard reboot because it's ***. $400 gone and I can't even play online. Add in the 40 for
    membership and 60 for cod. Can we fix this? If you have this problem please post anything that you think might of caused it.

    Normal Xbox one? Call of duty edition xb1?

    How many xbox's are in your house?

    Did you mess with any settings on your router?

    Change the ip settings, dns settings, or alternate mac address? on the xb1?

    Please refer to the service alert page for information regarding the issue users are having connecting to Xbox LIVE. The tech team are hard at work trying to fix the problem and once they do, you should be good to go.

    I have the same problem, it was working fine 3 hours ago, I go out, come back to play some Forza and it just says "Connect to Xbox Live" on the right hand side of "Home" even though I've got the "Everything is good" when I troubleshot my network ? I'd be
    ok with this if we got a notification about it ! This is not acceptable !

    I've been having xbl issues also but I can't play offline or anything. I'm at the update screen that says "something went wrong, you need this update to use your console." It's very frustrating because I just go the xbox last night and this is what I start
    up with.

    Even though you haven't specified, it seems like you are indeed referring to your Xbox. I'm sorry for your issue, and I want to inform you that I don't have access to your data and your account, so I can't verify if ther is a problem with your account.

    Given your generalized issue, where you're unable to play any title, I would recommend resetting your console. Following the instructions below, you can choose between 2 types of restoration: one, keeping your data, and the other, erasing them.

    You can try the first option, and if it doesn't work, you can opt for the second. I hope this procedure can resolve your problem.

    Even though there seem to be no issues with your router, I also advise unplugging its power for a few minutes, restarting the console, and trying again before proceeding with the reset.

    To reset your console:

    Press the Xbox button to open the Guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    You can choose between resetting and removing everything or resetting and keeping games and apps.
    It's important you know that "Reset and remove everything" restores the console to factory default settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps, will be deleted.
