    Hello,I'm having a problem with connecting to xbox live. I have had this problem for a while now, and now my mom's boyfriend is having the same problem. When testing our connection to xbox live the connection will go through the network but will stop at
    internet or xbox live; it is highly random of which one the connection stops at. We have reset the router and restored the network to the factory settings. Any help would be greatful.

    Well, I am not having this Problem, so it must be your internet or you Xbox Live connections try doing a Connection Test to see if its a problem With your Xbox 360 / Network / Internet / Xbox Live.

    I'm having the same problem I can connect to the Internet but it will not connect to Xbox live. I used to be able to connect to Xbox live and now I can't I think it's my router.

    in longview here and having the same problem went from not connecting to xbox live to not connecting to internet on it as well...although my smart phones, computer and lap all connect...so i think this is a xbox problem

    Hey I'm staying in a hotel and I'm having problems connecting to xbox live. It shows I have internet but once it gets to xbox live connection it fails. I can't physically get to the router so any other solutions would be helpful

    I'm having the same problem. There is no network error, and there is nothing wrong with you connection if other profiles are able to connect to Xbox Live. My wife's account connects fine. So it has to be something account related. I'm thinking it has
    to do with something with these xbox live security proofs that keep poping up, no matter how many times I verify my account through them. Brian are you getting these popups?

    Hey mark1ee. I came across your same message on the Virgin Media support forum. I'm also with VM and I have what sounds like an identical problem with my xbox 360 not connecting to the internet, even though the router and other attached devices are working
    and accessing the internet fine without any issues.

    The dashboard network test fails at the internet stage even without any storage device connected so that rules out any Gamertag account issues I think. Also after the failed test the xbox shows the current status of xbox live (showing the current matchmaking
    issue), which means it has to be connecting to at least one xbox live service to get that info.

    So, I'm wondering if your error code is the same as mine? (8015190e). You wrote that you now think this is an ISP problem. Do you think they are blocking some xbox live services from working? It is strange though that many other people right now are having
    similar problems regardless of ISP and I also have a friend that is with VM and they have no problems...at the moment, touch wood.

    Because of this, I still think it is Microsoft that are at fault here.
