So I'm Canadian am I not important enough to deserve Xbox 360 content?

Is my money not important enough? Am I so much of a second class citizen that my money won't even line your pockets? Are us non-Americans really that throw away compared to American users. Really even though my credit card is Canadian
I am still willing to pay the American price to buy the Black Ops 2 Season Pass, if Xbox would even let me. But here's a secret they won't I'm not important enough to even have them consider take my fifty American dollars, which is a bit more in Canadian when
I pay enough to equal American money

No, they shouldn't until canadian consumers stop paying at the current price point. But until then, MS can continue to charge since canadians continue to pay. The other more important reason is simply the Canadian dollar is NOT stably above par.

As a Canadian xbox 360 gamer from 2007 (the day before halo 3) i have spent over $600 in games(not including 5 xboxes, many mics and numerous points) i have been a loyal customer and i believe i deserve return for my points

What is the region of your account?

If I remember correctly your account and physical location must match or you will run into issues purchasing content.

 

The problem is that they shut down the Canadian store Xbox 360 market place so only Americans can download and buy Xbox 360 content. So the region of the store and the region of a non-American account won't ever match therefore restricting all non-Americans
from downloading Xbox 360 content. So basically non-Americans money isn't good enough for Microsoft.

 

They haven't shut down any regions store on the 360.

I'm in the U.K. & easily use the store on the xbox 360.

Considering you also need the xbox 360 store to buy backwards compatible games on a xbox one then why would they shut it down?

it would seem that I can't actually buy Xbox store content anywhere I go, I can't seem to make it not want American billing information despite being in Vancouver it always defaults to trying to charge US amounts and going to US stores despite me not having
this issue when it comes to Xbox one content

I would check that your console and account region are correctly set, please see the guide below on how to set/change account and console regions.

Update Microsoft account if Moving to a New Country or Region

 

Been checked everything is fine for both my account and region, apparently, they restrict black ops 2 season passes to Americans because the other nations aren't important enough for Microsoft. Been looking into all of this and decided to cancel my 13$ OneDrive
subscription because of it and my renewal of my Xbox account, think next generation I'll go with Sony and just keep using my console until the Xbox Sub drops then just stay on my PC instead.

 

Since april 2016 update the 360 is seriously flawed as store is concerned and they never bothered to fix it.

When searching for a couple of words and you have it on "show games" - it always shows "All Media" as result from search.

Chat support just suggested I put in a uservoice feature request to restore this - this is a bug and they want me to apply for feature request to be voted up on top???

Depending on what you search for - this is really a problem. I searched for "chess" to see if any chess games - and had to scroll through pages and pages of music and videos on "chess" as well.

Since latest update nov 2016 - it also has frozen 360 a couple of times. Both in game, and just searching for games going back and forth. Never happend since 2012 that I bought it. Some stuttering behavior as well.

So 360 is nothing MS care about anymore.

Sony had issues on PS3 as well, so not clearing them being better.

All these companies go by is what spread sheet guys in suites see in their numbers - how are we doing?

really all I wanted was something simple, I wanted to play black ops 2 with all the dlc, but Microsoft won't take my money. Therefore Microsoft won't be getting any of my money ever again they can just screw off. The only thing they had really I liked as
an exclusive was halo 3 but since I'm Canadian and my money isn't good enough for them I won't be getting that. So ya I'm on the ps5 train next year

 

okay good news for me, since Microsoft refuses to help me I’m not buying another one of their consoles or buying any more games for my current one. Or any of their services I quit one drive and ended up using SoundCloud instead

 

I'm non American and still have access to the Xbox 360 store. I live in New Zealand and even my Australian friends (who are non American) can access the Xbox 360 store.

I still have my 360 console I got Xbox 2 years ago. My dad has an Xbox One and we only have one of that in our house. I have my own 360 console though. My mum is getting me my own Xbox One X console in November so I'm excited \^.^/
