    So I was comm. suspended for nothing


    So I looked at the reason I was suspended, and it was supposedly because of an activity feed item I posted on Xbox Live just today. However, I did NOT post anything today. In fact, the only thing I've done ON xbox in the past 2 days is watch Netflix. I've
    sent one message to a friend (not anything offensive, and he said he didn't report me) and that is it. Unless the activity feed says when I am watching Netflix, and Netflix is somehow now offensive, I have no clue how I was banned.

    If a comm-ban also suspends you from uploading a custom gamerpic, then there's nothing you can do but wait until the comm-ban is over. I would imagine a custom gamerpic is a "communications" feature too.

    Log on to http://enforcement.xbox.com, review your suspension details, and submit a case review (if eligible).

    What guideline did I break to get com banned?

    It's much easier for the system to pick up comments made in a message to ones made purely with voice comms. Voice comms would need more human interaction. Just because nothing has happened to this other user yet, does not mean they won't be suspended also.

    There really is no need to reply to any offensive comments over Xbox Live. That's what the block and report buttons are for.

    It does take time for the enforcement team to investigate complaints so the suspension could be for something that took place days or weeks before it was issued.
