So I just got a comm ban yesterday...

So I got a comm. ban yesterday, for remarking on how the person played, on dead by daylight, as killer I said it in a message because dead by daylight has NO IN GAME CHAT ON CONSOLE, and I don't like have players that toxic in my party... so I sent him
a message, and got reported, and belittled by the same [Mod Removed - Profanity], I say ONE thing and get banned, he say 4 things belittling things and gets off scot free, the enforcement team needs to change, who agrees? and here's the kicker,
I've also been banned for LITTERALLY NO REASON as well, not talking to anyone, next thing I know, BANNED, then as soon as it ends, I get banned AGAIN.. FOR NO REASON!!??? LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL
[Mod Removed - Profanity]???!!! Something needs to change, and the only options I see are them butting out entirely or asking the accused why they're being reported, cause I'm sick of this
[Mod Removed - Profanity]. I've gotten 10 bans over the last year and a half, and I've never had any before getting dbd, or my One.. seriously, who agrees that this [Mod Removed - Profanity] NEEDS to change? I'm tired of people
literally hiding behind the system...

You can check for any bans/ suspensions you might have here- Sign in to your Microsoft account

If your ban is over and you are still seeing the effects of it, follow these steps:

1. Remove your account from your Xbox
2. Restart your console by pressing the xbox button, press settings, press restart
3. Add back the account.

You can also double check your privacy settings by

• Going to Sign in to your Microsoft account and click privacy settings.
• Then scroll down to "Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites?" and select "Everyone"
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page to save

Your best bet to avoid suspensions would be to just simply report the players for their unsporting behavior. No need to put yourself in the possible situation of having your communications suspended. As unfortunate as it is. There are a lot of players on
the internet that behave and troll in ways to try and cause another player to react in a way that possibly violates the Code of Conduct.

Try and save yourself the trouble and don't react in the way they want you to. Just report an block them.

Sorry, but those are the rules you agreed to when you signed up. Freedom of speech does not apply in this situation since Microsoft is not part of the government.

 

Because freedom of speach only protects your free speach from the government. Private entities and companies can still set rules on what you can/cannot do/say

 

it's a human right, not just used to speak out against the gov. if I want to talk I should be allowed to say what I want to say no matter what i'm doing or where I am, its not like i'm trying to hurt anyone, i'm speaking my mind, and if that's so wrong

It actually IS just protection about speaking out towards the government and is NOT a human right but rather a right of being a US citizen
