    Im familiar with this and tried it and talked to another person, i had set my friends account as my home xbox and his games never showed. It kept saying he had 3 switches after i unswitched and switched it a couple of times. So i factory reset my xbox and it said he has 0 but now it says my account has 3 switches so i had talked to you because I'm stuck at 3 just like his no matter how many times i un switch and switch it says i have 3, so i used another friends account “he has 0 switches” and i was able to see his games

    are switches assigned to your account or xbox? when i log in on the new system, won't that count as a switch since it will be trying to set it as my home xbox? then, i remove the old one from my account. Now, when I try to go on the xbox I am sharing
    with, do I need to set that as the home xbox to my new console? Will any of this count as a switch?

    Did you try the suggested method of logging in with another account? It seems to help others with this problem.

    My wife had a dormant account so I didn't have to set up a new account - I just logged in as her, started up Fitness, let it load all the way up and then switched to my account. After I finished and came back out to the XBox Home, I had no further problems.

    I understand that you require assistance with Home Xbox switches. Please note that each account has a limit of 5 Home Xbox switches. If you are attempting to log into a different account, the account may have already used up all 5 switches. However, if the message you received states that you should wait until February 20, 2023, please allow some time as there may be a delay in updating the switch status. Typically, it may take up to 24 hours for a new switch to be applied to the account. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    So before I switched my account to my home Xbox on my Xbox it said I had 5 switcs left and whi I went to switch my account to my home Xbox I siad I couldn't anymore said I had switch 0 switch left ?

    It is possible that you accidentally set your account as the Home Xbox on another console without realizing it, which would explain why you are seeing a message saying you have already used up your allotted switches. Alternatively, it is possible that someone else with access to your account may have set it as the Home Xbox on another console or if you're signing in on a different account and choosing "No Barrier" as your sign-in preference that will automatically set your account as Home Xbox on the console.

    If you are sure that you have not set your account as the Home Xbox on any other console and you are still seeing a message saying you have used up your allotted switches, you may try answering the survey so you could get an extra switch. To do it, here's how;

    1. Set the account as home Xbox on the console.

    2. When you see the message that the account no longer has switches, click Help.

    3. Kindly check for the option or message, Need more switches?.

    4. If you see the option, follow the steps to have a one-time exemption.

    NOTE: Microsoft Support and Tech Experts Do not have the Ability to Reset this.

    If the option is no longer available, I'm afraid the only option to get an extra switch is to wait for your next eligible switch.
