So I got a message on my xbox one x that microsft edge is out of date but no updates for it

Um, there is nothing wrong with our home internet, also i had already did a full shutdown yesterday with my Xbox one x, and our at&t u~verse router is working fine, i simple getting a message from edge on my Xbox console saying that its not up to date, as i wrote the console has the latest firmware and i don't see any install able updates for Microsoft edge seems not have yet released any since the last downloaded update was Microsoft store on my Xbox console. I did turn off night mode in display since it seemed to be caused some text readable problems in a remastered video which was why i did a full shutdown and reboot it but that has nothing to do with edge on the Xbox console having a message saying Microsoft. Edge is out of date, again i am not getting a updates for the app when i check for updates, the last update i got on my console that i seen was for Microsoft store. And the remastered games were the life is strange series that came with my life is strange true colors game again which should not have anything to do with edge not updating or a message saying its out of date in the menu in edge app on the upper right side in the screen on Xbox console. Before the storm works fine but i am having that area in the other game is too dark problem also own the originals games, under this forum in xbox gaming i did post images and small clip of the problem with it , its a clip showing how dark the image seems to be when max goes behind the diner, in any case i do not think these problems are connected, but want to bring it up if they were which i really do not think it is.

Sure, then try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

This is happening to my Xbox Series X.I load bing and in the upper right where the 3 dots are a message saying "edge is out of date" appears.If i click it then a offical Microsoft edge page loads and a choice to update is given.If i chose Windows 11 it says not supported.I have had this happen 4 times in 6 days.It some times makes edge un usable as it asks to accept cookies/t & c over and over.I tryed a factory reset keeping my games and apps but it was the same.I did a power cycle then the edge out of date message was gone but within a 24 hour period it happend again.Is My Series X broke? What should i do? I am considering trying a factory reset without keeping my games and apps or selling it.It seems to be tied to my tag as i have a second tag on the console which doesn't get the edge out of date message.Any ideas anyone? Help.

When I open the browser, using Xbox Series S, in the upper right corner there are 3 dots (...). From those dots a box opens saying it was unable to update the browser and to reinstall Microsoft Edge. The link takes you to a Microsoft page where you can download Edge, but you have to first select a Windows version. Xbox is not listed as it's a modified Windows operating system.

If you "X out" of the notification Window saying it was unable to update and to reinstall Edge. There is a red notification tag on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner indicating something needs to be done. When you click on the 3 dots at the top of that menu it says "Microsoft Edge is out of date". When you click on the message it opens the box telling you to reinstall Microsoft Edge.
