My username on everything now is pretty much "aishiteimasux". So naturally I was going to change my gamertag to that.

I can't have that gamertag because of the s-h-i-t that happens to be in the middle of the word.

Aishiteimasu is Japanese for "I love you" the "x" is just because plain "aishiteimasu" is usually always taken. (And a bit of a play on words meaning the phrase "I love you" sucks because love sucks a lot of the time lol)

It isn't a bad word whatsoever. Urg.

Now I am sad. :c

Problem on changing my gamertag.

Ok, so here goes.

I am from New Zealand and in my country there is an age restriction on your microsoft Xbox live account.

If you are not 18 you can't download anything.

Well I am 17 and this is my problem.

I want to be able to change my gamertag as when I first made an Xbox live account your profile name was also your Xbox live account. Now when I put 1500 MSP on my account I want to be assured that I can change my gamertag, but because of the family
settings download restriction (which I CANNOT change) I am unsure that it will work, can anybody help please .

Gamer tag change

so I created a new account so I could get unrestricted, which I did on accident on my old account, and it wouldn’t let me change the restrictions. So I make a new account, and 4 weeks later, and I want to change my gamertag. But, it says I’ve already used
my name change. I am so mad about this because I really want to change it and I never used my name change! Please help

It is not worth using a tag that you know someone will report eventually.

It makes no difference what the word means to you, if it has an offensive alternative it will cause problems.

If you do insist on having it, you could always replace the "i" with a "1"

I guess so. I'm also just one of those people that see words as just words and there isn't much out there that offends me so I don't understand when other people get offended at small things? (And people often seem to look for reasons to report people for
fun on xbl I've noticed?)

I'll just keep my current gt, I was just kinda irritated because I wanted all my accounts to match.

Try to find a clever way to implement the name. As Owen said, someone will not understand the meaning and just think you are being clever with a swear word in your name.

Personally I don't like replacing letters with numbers because it looks tacky.

Or you can just stick with what you have.

I want to change my gamertag to "LimJinn" I think I can't change because I have used "LimJinn" to register ".onmicrosoft.com" account. But this account is mine. Is this why I can't change gamertags?

Hello, yeah but you didn't understand my "question". My gamertag is available. I shouldn't have those numbers and I know it because I have the original gamertag that i liberated by changing it in the first place. I can give the support the e-mails of both
the accounts that had this specific gamertag before I tried to change it to have it on the right e-mail account.

So now, even if I know MYGAMERTAG is available, I still have the dumb MYGAMERTAG1687 instead of the one without numbers, and if I want the one without numbers, I can't because it says I already have it, so to fix this I should use a OTHERGAMERTAG to change,
then change again to MYGAMERTAG to have access to the one without numbers (because, as I said, I know it is available as I have liberated it in the other account)

So none of my changes were worth anything and if I want the one with no numbers I have to pay 2 time the change as it won't let met change for the same gamertag without the numbers

So I can't change my gamertag to the one I want because of the restrictions.
