    So I bought my kids a movie


    Yea it was about 830 pm and my kids wanted to watch a movie so I bought them one and to only have Xbox live go down .. I think I'm gonna go back to buying DVDs at least I know they will play so thank you xbox live I've spent the last two hours trying to
    explain to upset children they cannot finish watching there movies because Xbox live isndown

    Windows phone 8 xbox video cannot download purchased movies

    I have been having this issue for months on the two movies I bought through XBox Video. I'll just keep buying movies for my kids from Amazon until they fix it. Thanks.

    I had the same issue tonite buying a movie for my kids, 420 points were taken but the movie showed as expired in my movie list immediately after renting...can i get my points back please!?.

    Yea I should of just went to beat buy and buy the movie but my 2 and 4 ur old really wanted to watch their dragon movie... And still haven't been able to and i still can't load the movie for them I'd really really like a refund for a product I or my children
    who spent the night in tears and upset cause the movie I promised to them if the were behaved all day is unable to play thank u Xbox for making me look like a mean dad so gimme a refund cause I'm going to go buy the real DVD since u can't get your service

    I'm very sorry that you are experiencing this issue. My own kids can't watch the movies they want to either.

    A hacker group is claiming responsibility for this and I'm sure Microsoft is working on fixing the system as fast as they can. You can keep an eye on what they're doing at this link.

    In the meantime you are certainly more than welcome to request a refund for the item that you cannot use. Please contact phone support for more assistance with that though as no one on the forums can help with it here.
