so i bought a xbox one afterglow controller but now the buttons dont work in every game

You will probably need to contact Afterglow/PDP directly for support with one of there controllers.

Microsoft has the WORST controllers ever. I have replaced 3 because the crappy RB button has broke every time. Bought an Afterglow controller and haven't had a problem yet. Funny, neither one of my PS3 controllers have broke on me yet, and I play on that
more than I do the Xbox. To each his own when it comes to which controller is the best.

I bought them from Microsoft. It worked on the initial testing and has not worked since. I also bought a pair of Xbox One Afterglow LVL 1 Black Wired Chat gaming Headset, which also does not work.

Please note both headsets work fine on every other device.

controller working despite me thinking it was broke and bought a new one lol.

so like you said should i do a hard start every so often,just hold xbox power off button for 5secs

I've been gaming since the Commodore PET and controllers for the Xbox One are very fragile and it's always the same 2 issues; buttons becoming unresponsive or stick drift.

I'm now going for the cheapest controllers available (Xbox One Afterglow wired controller for £25 instead of £50 for a standard controller).

the Xbox 360 controllers were great and pretty robust, it's a shame the new XBONE controllers can't compete with them.
