    So I am guessing this is a disc tray about to break down?


    Well it seems ( to me anyway ) that my disc tray on my xbox one is breaking down on this pos of a system. When I put a game in after hours of the system turned off and unplugged from the power out let the game won't load up. No grinding, no errors, nothing
    actually.. The only way to get the system to read the disc and play the game is to do a hard reboot..every time now after the system has been off for hours. This happens one time only when I just turn on the system and it seems happen with all my physical
    games so far. After i do the hard reboot on the system (unplugging it from the power outlet) and turn it back on the game in the tray works and so will any other game. This is a cheap solution fix though and I can only imagine this problem getting worse quickly.
    I read some [Mod Removed] post that it was a memory glitch with the ram but clearly that idea is not true because this has happened so far every time soon as I turn on the system and put in any game and this just began at a more often rate
    recently. This issue has shown up before but not often but lately it's been often and now just about every time when the system is unplugged for hours. And yes, the system is down flat on the table before that is asked. So does that sound like a disc tray
    about to break down to you people too or am I being over worried with this issue which I highly doubt.

    Disc tray question

    Hi I have a question about the durability about the disc tray. Whenever I remove at disc or put one in the tray I press down on the tray ever so slightly. I was just wondering if this could crack or bend the disc tray? Or is it well made? My Xbox is a slim
    if that matters. Thanks for any help.

    you still are saying this wrong... if your disc tray breaks on your DVD your TV will still work..yes... also... if the kinect breaks.. yes, your TV will still work just like with the DVD problem..... since the Kinect is more like your disc tray and the XB1
    is your DVD player.. since both need each other to work properly...

    This behavior is not normal. I would recommend contacting support and requesting a repair as the console is within the warranty period.

    yeah support and repair from ms are not exactly good for me. This isn't my first pos broken down xbox one and the last time I tried sending it in for repairs some how the jack *** didn't see a problem with a loud grinding system that was making marks on
    my games as a problem so they sent back the system still damaged and scratched it up even more than I sent it to them. lol.,, so no thanks to that idea so if this breaks down I am just gonna end up with a ps4 instead.

    Fair enough. I would recommend contacting support and asking them to speak with Tier 3 about that support experience. It's not how things should go at all. I'd give them a chance to work on your case and get that console in for a look.

    If you don't want to do that, then as I said fair enough, but it's the only way that you're going to get something done officially to see what's happening.

    I did tell you something useful. Tier 3 is the team that investigates exceptional situations (like the one you mentioned with your console) and makes it right.

    They are the only way you'll get official help to fix the situation.

    So I am guessing this is a disc tray about to break down?

    And I also told you the wonderful service I got the last time I revived from tier 3 and MS's amazing fix it up job on my last system so no it really wasn't that useful to be honest, not being rude by the way. My guess is they will tell me to send it in
    like the last time. I will waste a month once again waiting with my thumbs up my *** again and then when I get the system back it won't be fixed and who knows what condition it will come back this time since the last time they sent me what looked like a scratch
    board for a cat.. I did some testing today on games like titan fall and pvz garden warfare and they both worked in the first try after many hours of the system being unplugged. For some reason the problem began more often with wolfenstein and destiny. Lately
    anyway.. I am hoping it's anything else than a disc tray wanting to break down. So I am seeing if anyone has seen or experienced this and how did it go afterwards and so on. Not really looking for the official report from a phone number and company that wasted
    a month and sent me a system in worse condition than what I sent in.
