So far two games purchased digitally.. both have issues joining Multiplayer matches..

I have periodic issues joining using quick matches, I'll get stuck in a wrong game typen or have it tell me lost connection before even get in game. Even have it put me in completely empty servers. And I purchased the digital of the game so I feel your
pain.

The way I see it...

*Physical*

Campaign + Multiplayer = £40

Campaign = £25

*Digital*

Campaign + Multiplayer = £34.99

Campaign = £20

£54 for digital game is ridiculous. With that price in mind you can purchase two games probably (physical).

It sounds like the two of you possibly both have strict NAT settings so therefore cannot join each other, but if someone with open NAT hosts you can both connect fine and hear each other.

You should check your network settings in the console's settings and run the multiplayer and network tests to see if that could be the issue.

I joined two matches last night and both had slow play. I left both as soon as I got in. I tried a private match and it was slow. Cleared the cache and that fixed it.

I like the fact that I can play a game while waiting for a game. I can play game while waiting for a multiplayer match to start or friends to join. Some time I am sitting in a game room waiting for a few people to join up to so we can start our match. be
nice to say have COD, BF4 up and friends join the room as we chat and wait while I play a bit of Fallout 4 say for example. Can't play those two games at once if you have to swap disc's that is why I think I will go digital. Sure I will miss the collecting
and no games on a shelf but I have 100's of DVD that have all be converted into a share drive that are accessible to any TV in the house and sit there collecting dust. Why go get a disk when I can turn on smart TV and using DNLA watch it that way. For me the
digital is the way to go. The collector in me will miss all the games on the shelf but the features I gain for me are better.
