We have family here at mo. Thankfully they are off home early morning so it's just awkward to go on mic but hopefully on later tonight, if not normal service shall resume tomorrow

Do you think the AI is a lot better now? Finally they move over without having to give them a polite nudge!

Also I think wet weather racing is greatly improved. Slightly trickier which is good but at least now it doesn't look like your driving down the Thames in a F1 car lol

 

Only issue I have with the A.I. is that they tend to start a move on you but then back off for no reason.

Doesn't happen all the time but I have seen it.

A.I. that actually moves out of the way under blue flags is a god send,take note Turn 10.

Do like the wet weather racing although for some reason the spray at Baku does look like Thames water(clean version)

 

The Baku track is a nightmare for me

Even in the dry I either clip a few barriers so I have to slow to a pace where even you Mr Badger could overtake me

 

Finally got home and fired it up this afternoon- first impressions.

I don't think it's the prettiest racer especially some of the character models but that's not the end of the world. The racing and feeling of involvement is absolutely fantastic!

I've done a few practice runs then jumped into career for a blast, started with Manor and have done my first weekend, somehow qualified in 6th and finished in 13th, I do think I need to bump the difficulty up one notch.

What's everyone got their Ai on?

I did have traction on full though because it was just frustrating me until I get used to it again.

 

You know what mate I must check what my AI is on.

All I changed was the assists, took off assisted braking etc so not sure what difficulty is set to by default?

 

Not sure what default is mate, I went straight into menus and mucked around, think I'm one up from easy now with AI, traction on full, manual gears and auto braking off obviously. I've also got the guide arrows on for corners only.

That'll do me for now, it seems to be where my skill level is at for a while.
