So F1 2016...

I see a few of you guys and gals have been playing it, how's it holding up? It's getting good reviews so far and reading around on Reddit etc it seems the fans are happy too.

Hi all, I am looking for some help with F1 2016. The issue I have is bringing up the tyre wear and temp when using the multi functional display when out on track? Is this possible, as I can bring up the multi functional display, but no tyre info. Any help
much appreciated

 

Brilliant.

Plays like a dream.The whole R & D stuff is done qute well & encourages you to take part in practice on a race weekend.

You can make it as challenging or as easy as you want.

Not had a wet race or safety car yet but the lapped A.I. actually get out of your way instead of getting in it.

Personally i think it's one of the best F1 games to date.

 

Nice one, I ordered it up today once some solid reviews came in, hopefully it'll be waiting at home for me when I get back from hols

 

It's a game I want but can't afford it yet, but I will deffo be getting it at some point. looks really good and glad the a career mode and safety car is back.

 

100% go with what Badger said but I'll go one better and say in my opinion it is the best F1 to date.

Codemasters seem to have improved just about everything, not a huge leap but when it's all put together it really shows just how much it's improved

And they have added a lot of cool features, mostly to career mode but any race fan should definitely consider this, any F1 fans here? If so stop reading and go grab a copy

Got to be up early in the morning so was only planning doing a few Time Trials but ended up doing 2 career races. One of those games where you look at the clock, 20 minutes later you look again but it's actually 2 hours gone by.

Like I posted earlier, they really have added some cool features, usually I'd skip practice sessions on previous F1 titles but actually want to do them here just to earn the rewards to upgrade your car and there plenty to choose.

Not tried the MP but I'd have got this for SP only, it really is that good. Sure some will say well it's just another F1 game, yep but they have done enough, new features, better AI, tweaked handling, wet races are tougher to name a few to make this one
stand out and for me I don't think ..." Just another minor update from the last" it feels like a breath of fresh air especially to a racing game fan like me

I shall look forward to some long stints over the weekend

Raced 3 more career races today. The game is incredible in my opinion and a must purchase for racer fans, especially F1 followers

 

The game is ok, some graphical issues which may be polished out with a patch. However Codemasters have a rep of releasing games and then sort of forgetting they did if you know what I mean. It is though worth a buy if for nothing else than to beat Nico Rosberg.

At least it feels deeper than previous attempts but is far from perfect, now if only the folks over at Forza HQ made an official F1 game then you'd be talking my language.

 

Practice session and trying to meet objectives in the wet can get interesting, even more so when you meet a few other cars lol

The game is class though. Dirt Rally now this, Codemasters have stepped up their game!

 

Just do them in the next session if it's going to be a dry one.

You ain't got to do all the R & D stuff in first practice.

 

Wet just adds a bit more challenge

I usually do the 3 objectives, favourite being ( forget name ) where you have to keep tyre wear to a minimum over the 3 sessions but I have to remind myself about the other objectives as well but they can usually be done whilst doing the main ones.

Which team did everyone start with? I went with Haas F1 Team. Hopefully get some contract offers ( even though I have been promoted to the teams number 1 driver ) as the game goes on.

Anyone tried it online? I just wondered if it plays smooth
