I seriously don't know how to play background music while I play different games, even though the newest Xbox One update added this feature in. Does anybody know how to, and if so could you tell me how to please?

How to play music while gaming?

Anyone help me figure out how to play music from xbox music in the background instead of having the snap screen take up a 1/4 of my screen while I play Forza? Or is there any other way to play music while playing xbox one games without the snap side bar

Rant about listening to music apps while playing games.

So back on the 360 it was so simple to connect my phone via bluetooth and listen to my music while playing a game. Now there are built in apps to do this, which would be great, if they played in the background. I tried playing the Pandora app and then
hopping on Black Ops 3. But the only way to listen while playing is to "Snap" it. While snapped, it takes up like 1/4th of my screen. I just don't see why you cant snap and then minimize the app. I don't see them changing this really because the source
I used to find out how to Snap apps was 2 years old. Does this not annoy anyone else?

Nope, I found it. You have to go to the app store and download Simple Background Music Player, thanks for the help!

I've been playing Minecraft since, BETA v1.5 and I've always played with the music on. But whenever I'm playing Bedrock Edition with friends in a party, I tend to put the music volume around on 50% so I can hear everyone better. With that being said, it
can also be an annoyance to everyone in the party as well if they can hear, my music playing in the background. Thanks for sharing.

Being able to play music in the background without being snapped SHOULD be a feature, however you guys are acting like there is no other way to play non-game music to listen to while gaming without it coming from your console... (the I can't listen to music
while playing games, so the console is worthless comment made me faceplam, and nearly fall over) ipod dock, stereo, portable radio, pc speakers, pretty much everything that has ever been invented that plays audio says hi.

With the new update you are able to play background music while playing a game but you have to snap an app like Pandora or groove music to be able to hear the music

There are quite a few apps, that allow you to stream music and play in the background. Groove will do from your OneDrive and others will allow you to steam from a media server on your network as well. These will play in the background so you can continue
to play your games while music plays.

Copying to the hard disk though isn't really supported.
