So.....at what point do you bail a match?

So, when do you say I'm done with this match?

For me it comes at 3 points. When I enter a game and see it 90% over and obviously there's a reason everyone bailed. When there's peoe running around quick and no scoping (sorry...its dumb and ruins the game for me). Also when its apparent that compensation
is taking me kneecaps off. When I pump 1/2 a clip into someone's back just to die and see I never fired a shot...twice in a match..I'm out.

I've stayed in entry of lost matches. But throw any of those at me and I'm gone.

played with some idiots in my time who do the dive out of the warthog when the aim it at a cliff and don't bail and get a suicide lol

 

Vehicle Wh*res?

I hate using jets and getting decent points but never getting the actual kills. Every time I shoot down an enemy jet they always bail out so I just get the vehicle destroy points and at the end of the game it says I have around 700 points but a 0-3 usually

The lag compensation really did get me really PO last night.

 

So basically, you quit when you're losing. You're part of the problem.

 

I will not bail. I stay to the end and then leave. On matches I get put in late the reason for people leaving could just be they are getting beat badly by a better team. So, they just leave.

The lag can be bad. Whatever they are using can give a person a big advantage. I had one match were I actually stopped shooting just to see because it was obvious I was at an advantage. The guy put 2 clips in me and never killed me. My teammate killed
him from behind. Generally I am on the other side of that but this one match I as on the side of seeing how "good" it can make a player. I would have never died at all but I let myself be killed a few time. But, this is CoD. I have a friend who will have
a k/d of over 3.0 every time and is over that on each game. He knows and admits his huge advantage and really he is not very good at all. Just the advantage his connection gets him.

Quick scoping might end up a major problem with this game. It is definitely possible, more than in any previous CoD, to miss badly and still get the kill. The bullet is off to the side but the game counts it. That might be why I am running into it more
already in this game than others before. It feels so broken. My son loves to do it when playing with friends and was shocked how much easier it was.

And I am not bashing CoD here. It just amazes me they did not go with a better system at least for the One version. I have other One games that are not as bad for lag as this. Outside of the lag I am totally fine with the other stuff.

 

Some one above didn't read the end of my post. It said "I've stayed in plenty of lost matches" so how does that equate to "you leave when your loosing"?

I think the thing that kills this game for me is the consistency. I am an average player, but in most games, BF, older CODs, I can keep that average an average. This one has me being godly one match and as if its my first match ever during the next?

I can read just fine. You basically said you stay and take losses when you feel like it. I stand my reply. If people like you didn't leave there would be no getting into a match that was 90% over.

 

Well lets see danger. Why should I stay in a match where lag comp has crippled me, or one where I'm on a team of 3 vs 8.

You don't like that I leave feel free to block me. I encourage anyone else to bail under the same Circumstance's. Till they fix it I'll continue to bail on games like that. Maybe they will fix it...maybe they won't. Till then get used to 1/2 the other team
skipping out. Looks like this title is gonna be the same as the rest

 

I'll bail if there's to much camping, connections are crap or outnumbered and no chance of winning. I'll keep bailing till I find a lobby where people are actually playing. I mostly play hc search an destroy and watching some guy on your team do nothing
but sit and wait for kills is annoying and boring.

I don't. I take my losses. There's nothing worse than being on the winning team and the whole opposing team bails. So if I'm on that losing team I stick it out.

The only exceptions are if I see hackers (which I haven't in this game yet) or of the lag makes it unplayable (also hasn't happened yet).
