The two wheels on my trackball zoom in and out of first person. It's okay though. I don't have a full size keyboard so the arrow keys are useless. If I were going to continue on the Mac I would buy myself a fullsize keyboard that had a number pad on it but
it's okay for the next six months. I don't play as long and mostly during the day when things are quieter in Tamriel.

I have started to get the hang of the lockpicking game and ran in to help on the anchorthough the last time I tried in Auridon, 3 dremora materialized right in front of my Nightblade and wiped her out.

    :)

    So, About Elder Scrolls Online....

Those six assignable number slots have saved my kids bacon a few times, she seems intent on attacking anything with a red glow. I've not seen a mudcrab do her in yet, but severall harpys at onece will kill her everytime. I was sitting for an hour watching
her play, She stopped the Maomar in KR, and seems ready to go find the queens entourage now back in Auridon (that's a beautiful place I must say).

I've watched these two enough and played a little, did I read somewhere we would be able to move a character from the computer over to the console? It seems a shame to put a lot of time into a character on the computer and have to start over again with nothing
to show for it come December.

  5. Yes, it is a onetime deal. Once the console ships anyone who bought the PC version before June 30 can transfer all of their characters to the console. I thought I would probably start over since I tend to do that but have since decided that I would just
stick to the two I have in Auridon right now and wait for the console to try the other alliances. I'm happy with all of my Bosmer though I'm still not totally happy with the appearance of my Altmer mage.

I haven't found the queen's entourage yet but saved Silsailen with the Bosmer last night so I could get the Skyshard there. There is a mine called Del's Claim that has a skyshard in it that points to a side quest and the lighthouse near Vulkel's Guard has
a quest related to it that is a good proving ground for an early character. She should also go do the Harborage with the prophet since it will give her a useful early ring for doing basically nothing but learning some history.

The mudcrabs are not hostile so they glow yellow. As far as I can tell yellow means they will turn hostile if you attack them. It is really important to try to separate the early bad guys into single fights. When you get to some places like Del's claim you
discover that foes have teleporting abilities and you really need to get your back to a wall if you're weak or have slow reaction time.

I have a Breton mage in Ebonheart, but he's done only Coldharbour so far. Been mostly watching my oldest play her Bosmer and learning from the peeps there or asking you questions here. As of this writing I'm not that attached to the Breton.. after learning
more, I'll whip him into shape.

She started off getting that ring last night then went back to KR and finished off the Maomer and their meddling, calmed down the Green Lady, etc. I'll tell her about the Del's claim. If she gets surrounded she tries to run away and that almost never works
out well, but she's learning... so am I. She lets the mudcrabs go now at least, Alits and Thunderbugs not so much.

You girls and your characters' looks. So, About Elder Scrolls Online.... :)

She created this character with help from her sister; red hair, pale eyes, big boobs... I found her admiring herself last night while running around Mistral in bra and light armor breeches. I made her get dressed - after fetching her mother to come peek
    of course ... haha.

  7. I see a lot of people, some not so great looking, running around in their underwear. That's why I made a Khajit. I put her in a medium armor cuirass, which covers her hips as well but let her run around with no bottom so I can see her stripes. I ended up
deciding I had too must bust on the Altmer mage. I always reduce the bust, butt, waist and gut before I start refining. I prefer svelte.

    So, About Elder Scrolls Online....

Seemingly 70% of female toons have red hair too, including my 12 year old. I liked it at first but now it's... meh. They're everywhere. Well it's her first go around, anxious to see what she comes up with next. She's very close to level 10 now and probably
will start new one and run it up to 9 as well, before proceeding into the fray with her fav.

Speaking of young males, seemingly 9 out of 10 actual complete idiots playing ESO are foul mouthed boys. I'm a Marine (ret) and no stranger to lewd or downright vulgar talk, but in certain context and amongst my peers, very rare now. I had to filter these
twits finally. Taken as a whole, girls, with very few exceptions, are much more mature than boys of similar age, there isn't any way to dispute that. I was probably the same way tho...So, About Elder Scrolls Online.... ;) I'd like to send one or two of these internet heroes off to Parris Island
    for a week or two.

  9. You won't get any argument from me. I ignore the chat window completely and say no to any requests to group. As for hair, my Altmer has red hair but only because it was the only colour I liked with the skin tones available. I usually run to black or silver.
My Bosmer is really hot with black hair. I find myself making the same basic looking character if I start over becuase there are usually only a couple of hair colours and eye colours that I like.

I've known for sometime now that you actually put some thought into your characters appearance, and have plan in mind, perfectly illustrated by your words above; "the only colour I liked with the skin tones available". My daughter was trying to mimic her
mothers hair (among other things) and went a little too red as there seemingly isn't much subtlety in the palette for red in the game.

Just seeing so many red heads that didn't have your characters name or my kids name, desensitized me somewhat I suppose.

I'm more into the black hair, her mothers natural hair color (she's Cherokee), so I don't doubt your Bosmer's hotness. What color eyes?

We saw a woman at Kroger yesterday who had long jet black hair and
    these
contact lenses, I definitely did a double take. Creepy but she was a hottie, my daughter thought she could be a witch. She could easily have been a character in game.

  11. Those are definitely eyes you could get in the game. My Bosmer has dark blue eyes with sultry makeup. My own eyes are charcoal grey and I tend to like dark eyes better than light. The Bosmer all have cat eyes, at least in colour, and with the tilt and shape
they can be very exotic looking.

  12. I have been looking at ESO Fashion and I have to say that I think the best looking medium armor is on the Bosmer. I can see a guy playing female in third following a Bosmer Nightblade into the teeth of danger. Lol I like several of the higher level light
armors. The Argonian is nice but it looks like, in general, it takes getting to level 25 or so before any armor looks good. I gather they messed with the armor in this patch and I'm not sure yet how much worse the low level armors look. Personally, I think
messing with the appearance of clothes in a game is a bad thing. People get particular and don't like looking like a beggar just because of a low level.

Has anyone who got the PC version begun having second thoughts about ESO? Just wondering.

I wouldn't call it second thoughts so much as getting used to an MMORP again... my first was a game called Rise Of Chaos, was text based to boot, but a great game nevertheless. It's kaput now.

Doing these myriad quests grows tiresome at times. The girls love it though, like Skyrim with the promise that they can eventually beat the stuffing out of each other.

  15. I'll put this here since I know y'all will be happy for me. I just had the best session on ESO yet. I took my level 8 sorceress out on walkabout to see if there were any resources to be had. I actually found quite a bit of wood and jute plus critters to
give me rawhide. Then I helped close an anchor that was over my level but I destroyed all three of the first pivots (or whatever they are called) and helped with the bad things and still stayed alive. There was only one other person there to help close it.
I was chuffed. Then I went to Tanziwill where I did two of the three portals before dying and deciding to quit because I was tired. I even filled the single soul gem I have seen which helped when I died in the first portal of excessive giant bats. I know…it's
not much…but it doesn't take much to make me happy sometimes, ya' know?
