So a few things that MS need to add to the Xbox One dash.

Hello guys just thought I would make a few suggestions that I think should be added to the Xbox dash. Any other suggestions are welcome. Here are a few to kick things off.

Link your profile to Facebook. I know you can already do this through the xbox app on windows 10 but no one uses it. Please can there be an option to link facebook through the xbox dash to share images, Videos and add friends through there to my friends
list on my Xbox One.

Updates for games install in the background. How many times do you boot up a game on the xbox then have to wait 20 mins for a 5 gig patch for the game. Often quite a lot when wanting to play old games. Please can there be an option for the console to auto
detect patches when the xbox is running and download them. That way all my games are kept up to date and ready to boot.

Faster Install times.

That's about it for now.

I predict a big update that adds features back to the Xbox One dash, and makes Xbox One compatible with Xbox.com.

 

Please no, Facebook is horrible as it is.

All games do update, never seen an update in a long while.

 

Thing is facebook is so widely used that its a good way of finding your mates to play with.

My girlfriend just got an xbox one last November and she wants to find her friends who have also got one. Its the best way. That and think of the amount of free advertising MS would get with xbox and people sharing videos and images on there. Its all about
mind share and that form of social media advertising really works.

And I get constant updates on games. I don't use the instant on feature which is probably why. But there should be an option for auto updates when the console is on for us energy saving peeps

This is what instant on does. What do think your auto updates idea would do?

And BTW you are not really saving that much energy/money with instant on turned off.

 

On average, you save a little more than $1 a month with Instant On turned off.

For a dollar/month, I will gladly pay to have my updates done in the background. Heck I'd pay a lot more than that.

I'm not sitting around waiting for several GB patches to download and install.

 

Um the easiest way to find friends is like......have them on your friends list! Strange but true, Everything else what Jersey said.....

 

Here's an idea,why doesn't your girlfriend just make a post on facebook asking her friends who has an xbox one & what's their gamertag?

Crazy I know but it might just work.

Facebook was a bit rubbish when it was on the 360 anyway,that's when it worked.

 

^Haha, that was going to be my suggestion exactly, I'm sure putting a post out there would be a much more easy and effective way of finding friends who play Xbox.

Also get on the instant-on boat, you'll forget there is even such a thing as game updates!

Background updates would be awesome. I just don't have faith that we'll see them happening, tho. I know that the next time I'm switching to One I'll have to go through all my games manually to get the updates before I'm able to play them. So annoying.
