Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Free Garage is only SP. I already got one for each Character (SP).

Side note, the Achievement for owning a Insured Vehicle, Garage and Apartment/ House does not Unlock when only owning a Apartment (with 2 Car Garage) and Insured Vehicle. Kinda silly why I would need to own a Garage (stand alone) even though my Apartment already
has a Garage.

@GRAW, might be the new duplication glitch which requires two players to have the same apartment and for one player to buy the apartment but then cancel it at the end. Maybe it affects public servers by allowing those players to go into your garage when
it is not really theirs? I only had one strange event happen involving other players in my garage.

So I was driving my Sultan back into my garage when some other player was taking his/her vehicle out. The timing was so perfect that I managed to hit the player who was exiting's car while I got the animation to enter my garage. So when I exit the vehicle
in my garage, I notice a smashed up version of the player who was exiting's car crushed up against the entrance to the elevator. I should have took a picture; it was hilarious seeing that smooshed-up version of a player's car in my garage.

I TOTALLY FIGURED IT OUT --- SO if anyone is also having this problem, this is the solution. it's quite simple, really. all you need to do is replace the (destroyed) vehicle with a new vehicle in your garage, and your mechanic will overwrite that slot with
the new vehicle. then, once you sell that vehicle, the extraneous vehicle will be removed.

so for instance, i had a 6 car garage, with 4 actual cars and 2 destroyed cars in my mechanic's list. i drove a gresley in to the garage, and it replaced one of the destroyed cars. then i sold the gresley, and now i have 4/6 cars in my garage, 4 actual cars
and 1 destroyed car.

because you can only sell so many cars per game day (and because you need to fill all (destroyed) slots before selling them out), i just put two gallivanter's in my garage to occupy the destroyed vehicles. now i'll just sell them when i can to clear the
(destroyed) vehicles out of my mechanic's list.

pretty simple once you think about it. NOW, let's just hope no jerk blows me up on my way to the garage to sell these cars... because i do NOT have insurance on them!

^Sounds like this "method" equips a tracker and bypasses the "Can't Store in Garage". Hmm, has anyone tried doing this with a mission-specific police vehicle? (Ex: Police Bike).

Let's say you have two vehicles: vehicle A and vehicle B. Vehicle A has a tracker and insurance. Vehicle B is considered a high-end exotic and can't be stored normally in a garage unless bought. Vehicle A goes into the garage no problem, but vehicle B had
a tracker equipped via "the method" above. If player 1 is driving around in vehicle B, parks it, and pulls out vehicle A, what will happen to vehicle B? Will it still be on the map via tracker or will it disappear? Will it show up under the insurance claim
or not?

Like Zone said it will spawn in your garage. I know the 10 car garages they are on the wall, back left.

But..

You don't need to put it back in the garage. It will spawn with you just like any other vehicle during missions and entering freemode. It will even have a bike symbol on the map to let you know where it is. It won't have insurance or course. So don't destroy
it. And it will appear back in your garage like any other car.

While you can't call your mechanic to have it delivered, you can use the Interactive Menu (or whatever) and use the Request Personal Vehicle option and it will appear near you as long as it is already outside your garage.
