Sniper Elite v3

Lol, yes, those wine bottles, I have a few other words to describe them, but, still fun, really looking forward to the next game, it will be good, I wonder what, if anything will replace the wine bottles, maybe they'll just not bother, or leave as is.

 

This game should be played on the hardest difficulty, having to judge wind, distance, dip etc all without the aid of the little ui things like the circle helping you guage the wind, have to use that dodgy wind meter at the top gives it a whole different
feel, tho its fun to mess around on easy mode, i did alot just playing with xray shots.

It's not much harder it just makes you use the game environment more, setting up traps etc more and just generally being very sniper like, focusing on the ONE shot and gives the game a slightly different feel.... hitting petrol caps on the hardest mode was
a right ballache :/

 

definitely number 1 on my most wanted list

 

Some top looking titles coming in the next few months, Sniper Elite 3 I'd take over any of them at the moment.

 

Nah, I'm not a sniper fan (of the game series that is; real snipers are just plain awesome - like Mr. Rogers).

Personally, I'm waiting for The Division with it's high-tech inner-city combat.

 

despite it being boring for some the ww2 setting is what I really enjoy, don't think I would enjoy it as much if they went modern day

 

It's not boring to me, love it, and I also like the WW2 setting, looking forward to this.

I play most games on the hardest 1st rather than easy to hard so the length should improve there alone. I usually find that games require you to play on hard to unlock something awesome that you need to use to replay the game again. (DR3 for example). So
just by preference I go hard first >

^ I actually prefer a WW2 setting in these type of games over a Modern day game.

Not sure exactly what it is, they just feel more gritty and down to earth.

Mind you it's the same with war films for me, I much prefer the classic WW2 films over any of the modern day ones.

Lofty, I'm the same mate. Pear Harbour > White House Down. If that's a fair comparison lol.

 

The WW2 settings are great, the modern games are good, but give me older wars, another game was Blazing Angels, that would be a fine game with the power of Xbox One and the Cloud,

Back on topic, Sniper 3 seems to have more in the way of organ shots, and there's a lot more detail, which is good.

 

I also saw a video of this title where you saw the X-Ray mode working for vehicles, you see the bullet hit a truck engine and the internal damage, we didn't have that in V2.

 

So in the last games it was just Xray on the enemies and not on vehicles. I like the idea of it I do. Does it slow gameplay down at all? Like does it every become an annoyance? Or is it a case of it being so cool each time it happens that you don't tire
of it?

 

I never tired of the slow motion shots mate, to see a bullet crack someone's ribs, go through the heart and out their back was awesome
