Sniper Elite III

I bought this game yesterday in the hope the multiplayer side would be half decent. I suppose it could be if I could find anyone playing it lol. I played 5 games, 3 deathmatch and 2 team death, every game found there was only 1 other player playing, which
made for a pretty boring game. beginning to think I've wasted £40 if this carries on.

Do you guys think this is better than the second one? I was planning on getting the second one first but if 3 is better will just skip the second for now.

 

Second one was good but I'm really liking the third, the open maps are awesome for different tactics and play styles. If I had to choose on which to get it'd definitely be 3.

 

I would pick up the 2nd one cheap and play it through as it is a great game, then move onto the open world 3. You probably wouldnt enjoy 2 so much if you played 3 first. Plus 2 will get you used to some of the game mechanics like using sound to mask your
shots etc. JMHO.

 

Pesty I am yet to try multiplayer. Is it really that quiet bro?

Az, your right, one foot wrong and its all over. Im on what I believe is the last level and that is some tough stuff! Even on the easier difficulty.

On the topic of the 2nd game, am I right in assuming that 2 was a remake of 1? So technically, 3 is number 2 in terms of story? Same setting and character ect...?

 

Not sure about 2 being a remake of 1. But 3 is certainly not the same setting as 2. 2 was based in Europe and as the title suggests had to do with the V2 rocket. (or is it the V2 that makes you think it was a remake Cloud?)

 

Cloudstrife. Yes it was so quiet online yesterday evening, 1 other person only in each 5 games I played makes it easily the quietest multiplayer online game I've ever witnessed lol. Hope it improves.

 

OMG. What is it with the multiplayer in this game, it's got to be the most boring multiplayer I've ever played. No matter how many times I've played it, I only ever get 2 players in a game and one is me. Ending up in a twenty minute yawn fest, and as for
the screen tearing, well I think this game will be going back very soon what a waste.

Why not do something really crazy and suggest we all play together?

 

I don't mind if there's any one out there thats interested playing some multiplayer some evening, whether it be Deathmatch or Team Deatmatch etc. I'm always gaming from 9:30 pm to 1:00 Am every day, on any games system.

 

Those times are good for me also. Who else is up for some?

Genchmeister, sorry dude, yeah its the V2 that makes me think its a remake but now you mention V2 rockets it makes more sense. I just wiki'd it and it says 'sequel/remake' so my guess is maybe its a bit of both? I have no idea bro, I haven't played the first
two buddy.

Pesty, wow. I tried last night to join a game and got the same. Wonder if they have secluded servers to countries or something like that? I'm not a techy guy so I have little knowledge on this.
