Sniper Elite 4 bars

What do the color bars mean in Sniper Elite 4 ? I have noticed friends in England are all green numbered around 67, in America green to yellow numbered 100 to 200 and mine in Australia always two bar yellow a lot red numbered 325 to 400! I just updated
my internet plan and there is no change.

Hi Min,

No problem! We are always happy to help here on the forums. So when I said server I meant the place where the you connect to play the game. Some games are P2P (Peer to Peer), so for example the game (Gears 4) picks a random player as host to essentially
be the place where the match takes place. This can be anywhere in the world, but ideally it should be as close as possible to your actual location to minimize lag.

The gold standard is to have all games be played on dedicated servers, and that way the location is centralized (Microsoft servers) and your connection will actually shine, because you won't be hindered by players hosting from other countries. You will all
be able to play with hopefully lag free connections.

When you say server what is the server? Is it my internet connection / provider or something else? sorry mate i am 51 and don't understand internet stuff except put a disc in and push play.

So let me give you an example from Gears 4 which I played. Sometimes I would have games on a server with an incredibly high ping and some games I would get into a game that was really smooth with low ping. However, since I'm located in Canada I noticed that
I was having better games when I played with Americans then when I played with people from Europe and vice versa. It all depends on the geographical location of the players and how each of them is connecting.

So in your case you would have a better experience playing with people from your region then with people from America or Europe or if you happen to connect to an Australian server then you would have a good time and your friends would have an equally bad
time.
