Take it back to the store and get a replacement. Oh wait, it's a digital copy, you can't. Score another victory for a physical copy in the "Physical vs Digital" debate. I couldn't resist.

You might even try unplugging the power cord from console for a few minutes, then start it up again. I recall a similar problem I had with a different game I downloaded where even the hard reset wouldn't do it.

Try signing out then back in of your profile then quit the app and try again.

Are you in the preview program at all?. I must admit the last few days my console has been a little iffy. Iplayer and Sniper Elite not loading. PvZ took two attempts to load up last night. They finally load up, it just seems my Xbox is having a hissy fit.

Sniper Elite 3 is a bargain for £10. It's a little linear and the movement can be a little jerky. But the gameplay and Sniping is bang on, cinematics cool. I'm yet to play the MP or a private match but I've heard good things about it.

^ I've seen a few posts lately where other gamers have reported problems with games/updates downloading really slow, I'm guessing Xbox LIVE is having some issues?

Just tried it and it worked fine, go figure. Did a connection test and it came back fine. However it did say Xbox services are having issues. I'll add you Lofty, maybe you can show me the ropes in a private match. You UK based ?

I'm a big fan of the series, and bought it when it first came out. It's lots of fun if you like stealth games, especially with a co-op partner. Mask your shots with ambient sounds, set traps, hide bodies, all that good stuff.

The levels are nice and big, with multiple ways to complete your objectives. Tons of collectibles to find as well. The differences in the rifles are pretty well represented as well.

I've had a few graphical glitches as well, like the scope reticule disappearing, that were all solved by power-cycling the console.

Never got into an online versus match though, the online community seemed pretty dead. Maybe that will change now that it's on sale. I think you can't go wrong for $10.
