Sniper Elite 3: gone bad.

I rented this game a few days ago like on Thursday and I played the crab out of this game into the early morning light. Everything was fine, long hours of enjoyable game play, collectable searches, and having fun killing dudes; my 360 is the black
360 which I bought last year at full price. Now, this morning I placed SE-3 into my tray hoping to get through where i left off late last night but nope didn't happen the game just stop loading up. I deleted all my content that didn't help, I wipe off the
disc, cleaned off my 360, nope neither did this help. The game just stop loading up is is possible to burn out a game disc with a new game disc? I think it is possible especially from long hours of continuous game play but I thought game disc were supposed
to take this type of punishment, could I have been wrong? The game goes back today instead of on Tuesday or is it possible Xbox Live has figured out how to shut down game play on their end like a store that opens up at certain hours could MS/Xbox is doing
this this game is a new disc less than a week old. anyway I am now disappointing I cannot finish the game or play MP

This is misinformation dude. This is not Sniper Elite 3. This is Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army. You can't claim this to be the Sniper Elite 3. I'd laugh if somebody who reads this believe what you said, went to Walmart and asked for this game and then went home, popped it in and found out there are no zombies. Just regular Nazis. So anybody reading this, THIS IS NOT SNIPER ELITE 3.

Yes Microsoft is now shutting down games that you rent after a certain time period. Sorry you didnt get the memo. Please plan accordingly next time.

 

Have you tried any other games to see if they work?

 

Microsoft won't shut down games that are rented. It's just a hiccup with your system. Do any other games work? If any others don't work it could either be something with your drive. But if it's just SE3, could be a bad disc sector. I've had two returned
at my GameStop that froze after a certain period. If possible try another SE3 disc if you plan to rent it again.

 

If it was possible to burn out a game disk from too much continuous play, none of games would work.

 

I had the same problem with Uncharted 3. It would get to s certain part and freeze or not load. I took the disc back and replaced it 3 times. They all failed on the same part. My PS3 still works flawlessly. Hope it's not the same for you.

 

When you say you deleted the content, do you mean clearing the system cache?

Well, the game went back yesterday and a letter to Rebellion going out this morning.
