Sniper Elite 3 Freezing on "Updating Downloadable Content"

The game freezes ever time I open it. The screen is stuck on Updating downloadable content and circle below keeps spinning. It doesn't let me do anything and the only option I have is to reboot the console. After that it for that time but have the same problem
every time I start the game. Is anyone else have this issue and does anyone know how to fix this or at the very least disable the downloadable content?

Hey there Shark! Let's see what we can do to get things sorted!

To start off, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game. To do that:

1. Uninstall Sniper Elite 3 from your Xbox One console.
   
2. Power cycle your Xbox One console.
   
3. Install Sniper Elite 3 on your Xbox One console.

I have the exact same problem. I tried your solution but after reinstalling the game i am back at square one- problem still there which makes the game unplayable.

 

I tried the solution again and this time it seems to work... i get back here if it didnt

 

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game but the issue is still there. Worked the first day but since then its the same issue. Anyother ideas?

 

I completed the game but now when i BOUGHT the sniper weapon pack im back with this problem again. I need a solution, help please? Do i need to perform the above solution every time i buy a DLC?

 

And now it works again....

 

Same problem here... really frustrating. Will go away after 15-20 minutes. I also notice that the Campaign, Loadout, and Shooting Range items in the main menu have a yellow circle with an exclamation point next to them.

 

I have found a consistent workaround... when I boot xbox and go into Sniper... it acts as if I had not previously shut down the game and the console. It starts with a black screen (and the wings icon) that says something about a "job". When I finally get
to the main page, the "Updating downloadable content" dialog hangs forever.

SO, I will QUIT the game fully. Then when I restart the game, I see the "Updating downloadable content" screen for only a few seconds and I am in the game. Hopefully someone else can substantiate this. It is 100% repeatable for me.
