Sniper Elite 3 DLC not free?!

I purchased and downloaded Sniper Elite 3 for the Xbox One the day it came out. Because of this, I did not get the pre-order DLC. Now they release the DLC for everyone, but it costs $8! Are you serious!

I despise pre-order bonuses because its content that is cut from the game. But usually the content cut is a piece of armor, a weapon or a character outfit. Not an entire mission add-on with its own achievements!

The grey wolf DLC for Sniper Elite 3 should be free to those of us who bought the game digitally.

Not sure why you think it should be free but hey if you feeo that way you should reach out to the developer. Your issue will fall on deaf ears here.

 

Its simple.

You pre-order the game and get the disc = free DLC for you

I can't pre-order the game because their is no disc = I have to pay $8 to get the same DLC as you, and I've had to wait 15 days.

Thats why is should be free for those of us who bought the game digitally on day 1

 

What about the people that didnt preorder the disc and bought the disc version? They have to pay too. In the overall grand scheme of things even with the DLC charge its still only $58 total. Doesnt WWE do the same thing with their preorder DLC? Its a crappy
practice but its done. But with that said I dont really care one way or the other if its free or not. I dont do the whole DLC thing nor do I preorder games so meh. What I will say is that I see your point and its valid but I really think you should reach out
to the developers. Coming here with this isnt going to do much to help you. Im sure someone will be sympathetic but its not something anyone here can help you with.

 

I feel the same, I bought it digital but no day one/preorder bonus.

The content was not cut from the game, it was created for the specific function of being a pre order bonus. A gift to those who forked over money to guarantee that they received their game when it came out. As to not leave anyone out who did not take that
extra step, they are offering the content for a fee.
